Hi, what size is your frame? I'm curious if all sizes have this problem, because I don't see many complaints on other FM358 threads so I'm thinking that they may have only tested one size and just scaled the design for different sizes without actually testing.

Thanks!
Hi, my frame size is M (17.5)

Now I have another problem. When the rear suspension compresses, the brake rotor rubbing the pads. This also occurs when the bike leans into corners. I think it's a rear triangle stiffness issue. I contacted HongFu two months ago, and since then they've only asked for a photo of the brake mount on the frame.

In this video i push down my chest on saddle two times

You need an FM to PM rear brake adapter
140mm (zero offset) for a 160mm rotor
160mm (+20mm offset) for a 180mm rotor

i'm using FM to PM 140mm adapter on this frame. For SRAM Motive brake and 160mm rotor

Received the frame in February, and have done several rides in the meantime.
Frame is great, efficient and high quality, but also noticed mine is developing damages at exactly same spots.
Surprised to see they just machined some material away, no finishing, paint or something.
I noticed that your rear shock lockout is located at the top. Did you have to remove some material from the bottom of the top tube?

Hi. Has anyone tested the suspension at full travel? It looks like a design flaw. The suspension mounting parts touch each other at about 70% of the travel and become damaged. The frame suspension stops there. Im using SIDLuxe 210x50 shock.
I emailed Zoe from HongFu about this issue.
This is what HongFu sent me. Now i can build a working bike.

Has anyone checked if the SRAM Motive rear brake caliper fits this frame?

The rear triangle was cracked on my FM121 frame on the first ride. I rode about 2 km to adjust the rear shock before that happened.
I've been waiting for a rear triangle replacement since August 2025. They still say they're testing a new version of the rear triangle.

Hello.
Does a 750ml bottle fit on a vertical mount side?

Deem, In photo it looks like a horizontal 750 ml bottle will rest against shox lockout cable. Is this true? What is your frame size?

Are you still using the frame?
No. I don't think it's safe.
I contacted Tantan, and they promised to replace it. That was in August, and they've been silent since.

Oh no! My swing arm is cracking just behind the brake mount post!
How long have you been using this frame?

My rear triangle (around brake mount) was cracked in first ride, when i tune rear shock pressure

To use a 160mm rotor on an MTB frame, you need an FM to PM 140mm adapter. This adapter provides zero offset.

Hello

I finally got the warranty rear swing arm. It has a different design compared to the broken one. I hope the newer is stronger.
My frame was arrived with same updated rear triangle. Rear triangle cracked near lower brake mount on first ride. They promised to replace it.

Hi. What shock pressure do you use with this frame?
I'm 61kg and for 20% sag i pumped 63psi into the RS sidluxe shock.
In my previous bike i  run 95psi in RS deluxe shox with same sag.
This is a very big difference, considering that RS Deluxe has a larger air chamber. This means that the pressure on the Sidluxe shock should be higher (its volume is smaller)

If I let all the air out of the shock, the frame sags 43% under my weight. Frame doesn't fully compress under my weight
The pivot are very resistant to flex. Do you have this effect?

XC frame with 210x55 rear shock
Let's check out XC rear shocks
You can only fit FOX Float SL 210x55
RockShox doesn't have a SIDLuxe model in that size. Max is 210x50
