I don't see a charging port on your rear derailleur, as far as I know it's a v3

For my front derailleur, I used metal spatulas, heat and alcohol, and gradually I was able to separate it, don't be afraid to use force.

No, it´s V2. I bought it in Dec 24, V3 wasn´t available at this time. I also had contact to the technical support, they confirmed it´s V2.

Water leaks in through the motor shaft and the rubber seals, not through the housing. What version of the derailleur do you have?
I actually took my front derailleur apart and it was glued together. If you're careful, it's not a problem and everything comes apart.

I see that in the v3, well then yes, the weakest point was the charging port, it was removed, but if you are going to really flood your switch, then I recommend disassembling it and applying varnish to the board.

Ok, thanks for this information.

I have V2. I already tried to open it using a knife, without success. Maybe I will heat the case and try it again.

It is completely free, now open it.

If only it were that easy  ::)

I think mine is different to yours.
On the marking at the photo there were no screws. Probably they used glue instead of screws.

I will put some sealing on the outside to ceap the water away.

Thanks

Send your photo from the other side, what you photographed is not what is shown in the first photo, just turn it over and send the photo.

It needs to be freed from everything, and it will open easily, at least my B2 was simply snapped with an elastic band, look at my photo about 15 pages ago.

I checked your photos a lot, thanks for it.
Did you cut of something at the marked area?

Sorry for being so annoying about this topic, I don't want to ruin it.

You need to completely free the plastic case from any metal components around it, then unscrew all the screws and the case opens. I applied a special PCB varnish to protect the components and the board from water.

Maybe I will try a varnish, too.
I did this already, no metal and screw on it.
Did you use a tool to open it?

I took apart the RD, posted photos and all the information a few pages ago.

How did you open the case of the electronic? I don't want to destroy it.
I want to protect the electronic with this.

You can spray it directly on the electronic and protect it from water.

I put clear decal tape on all my RDs and then use a heat gun to properly seal everything. I also rubber cement all the ports for additional sealing.

Do you have any photos? Do you have disassembled the RD?

On my ER9 V2, the battery is charged via the FD. Are there different V2-versions available? I bought mine in Dec. 2024.

1. Have you tried activating the groupset while plugged into the charger?
yes, after I have unplugged the USB calbe the groupset is dead again.

2. Have you tried re-pairing the shifters to the front and rear derailleur?
Yes.

3. Do you see a light when plugged in?
Yes, but just when the groupset is connected to the USB charger.

4. Does the app see the groupset?
Yes, but just when the groupset is connected to the USB charger.

5. Can you control the groupset via the app?
Yes, but just when the groupset is connected to the USB charger and somethimes the conncetion gets lost.

6. Have you tried resetting the groupset on the app to factory default?
Yes, several times.

7. Have you tried hard resetting the rear derailleur by holding the RD button (might need multiple resets).
Yes, also several times.

The rear derailleur sounds very strange when shifting. And somethimes the shifter just toggle up and down while I press the shifters or shift in the app.

I have recorded videos, is it possible to load them up?

I still struggle with an unworking groupset and I don´t expect  any services from the warranties. I´m still in contact with the support team, but they keep writing instructions for tests that all boil down to the same thing.

Has anyone already purchased a front and rear derailleur as a replacement?

I already have tested my groupset with another batteries and battery box, no improvement. Since that, I have been waiting for feedback since then.

Which version do you have?

Hi,

my ER9 groupset is not working anyone, it is completely dead. In the morning everythings was working. At the evening no response, nothing. I checked the power of both batteries and the wires, everything looks good.

Has anyone else had this kind of error?

Tantan wrote to me "frame have stock raw finish . usually 10 days arrange shipping .  shipping time about 15-25 days ."

in my experience, buying 2 frames, they use only one box (bigger), but the shipping price is adjusted to the volume of the bigger box and the greater weight ... there is still a saving in costs

I got an update from TanTan, they can ship 2 frames in one box. shipping costs change from 150$ to 200$. All in all a saving of 53$ per frame
