Sales & Classifieds / [USA] CBK 60mm wheelset + 48x4.8mm Carbon Spokes
« on: February 25, 2026, 11:57:59 PM »
Hi yall,

I was planning on rebuilding my CBK wheels, but ultimately, I am looking to part ways with them.

I had issues with the spokes from the factory (some broke on the rear and some had no tension on the front). I was able to locate a vendor and received all the replacement spokes. I rebuilt the front and it has worked fine (vendor originally sent wrong size for rear).

They have less than 200 miles.

- Brand: CarbonBikeKits (https://www.carbonbikekits.com/440g-ultralight-700c-60x31mm-symmetric-carbon-tubeless-gravel-cx-rim-big-hole-center-distance)
- Rims: 60mm, 24mm internal, 31mm external (flare to 34 - very similar to Scopes), Internal Nipples, UD Paintless, Hooked, Super lightweight T1100, 425±15g, GR60-31A / GR60-31AH
- Hubs: 245g, 24H/24H, 36T Ratchet, Model: Rat-Hub11
- Spokes: 4.8mm bladed carbon spokes with Titanium ends, 2.6g each
- Total Measured Weight: 1260g with tubeless tape and valves

I can rebuild if desired for small fee.

I can be convinced to also just sell the carbon spokes. The wheels are equipped with:
- FD: 12x256mm
- FND: 12x266mm
- RD: 12x264mm
- RND: 12x266mm

MSRP: $854 without tax, shipping, duties, etc ($~1000)
Hoping for: $700 shipped
Spokes alone: $4.00/each + shipping

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
« on: February 13, 2026, 10:40:16 PM »
Hi - yall I just got my frame in and I’m having a hell of a time trying to get this headset figured out. I’m trying to run it with, what I think is, a FSA ACR stem. The compression ring it came with didn’t have the holes to line up with my headset cover that came with my stem, so drilled some but there is still a large gap. I’m assuming I’ll need a new FSA compression ring.

I asked if they had any deals for 11.11. Messages read but no reply. Same for Black Friday. Still eyeing the frame but the lack of even a “no” does rise some concerns if something were to go wrong with the frame.

This is what I imagine specialized would conjure up if they went more aerodynamic on the sl8. Throw the word S-works on there and drop 150g from frameset and this thing would sell like hot cakes imo.

Does anyone know if custom colors will be possible? Love the tubing shapes but the glossy to matte black is a little off for me.

I'd stay away from them. I bought a wheelset and it's been a nightmare.

Wheelset arrived about two months after purchase.
I said no logo - they had added the sticker. It was a quick fix on my end.
Go for two rides, broken carbon spoke. Thankfully, I asked for them to send extras, and they did. But the spoke broke inside the nipple, so I had to get a new one of those. They did not use any standardized nipple and would not reply to any of my emails for their source. I eventually found the right ones on AliExpress.

Upon measuring tension for the carbon spokes, I realized that all of the tensions were extremely off on both wheels. On my TM-1, I had some measuring at a 1. The recommended tension (as cited by them) was a value of at least 19 on the TM-1. They also did not send their "CBK" wrench as quoted in their instructions on adjusting tension.
I have an extremely long email chain asking for information and tools. Responses often take 4+ days and require several follow-ups before I receive a response that is often useless.

TLDR: Probably fine if you are a wheel builder, don't expect them to build it correctly or provide after-purchase support.

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Narrow integrated handlebars
« on: January 30, 2025, 09:27:22 PM »
Hi all,

I’ve been on the constant search for some narrow integrated handlebars.

Ideally, they would have a reach of 80mm, stem of 120, and width as narrow as 32cm on top, 34cm at the hoods, and 36/38cm at the drops.

Bigrock is the closest one I can find to my desired layout.https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrGlCZV

Am I missing any others?

Bonus bonus points for rear exit port like vision metron 5D

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Onirii Aero Pro

Came across this frame and even saw it on wheeltop’s home sight. Any insight here? I’ve seen some comments on the Onirii One on here. Onirii also just launched a video on YouTube about their main store. Is this an original model or a copy?
