Component Deals & Selection / Re: Flexible carbon seatposts

Elitao One master seatpost. 27.2, inline, solid enough to keep my 95kg frame comfy on a 200km gravel ride, took some pretty big hits along the way! I had the ergon one previously, it kept making concerning creaking noises and I didn't notice any downgrade in comfort

Component Deals & Selection / Re: best value bsa and t47 bottom brackets

Is ZTTO the best choice for a cheap T47 internal bb or are there better options? How is the weather sealing?

I went ONIRII ceramic dub BBright. Shop installed it last week and said it looked decently made/sealed... Not much else to go on!

I've been using the Thin Line for a year with no issues. Looks smart. I'm 95kg 340w FTP and 1500w sprint, it's stood up well

Thanks both, order placed - can't wait!

Looking at ordering the 60mm Ultralights (23.5mm IW, 3.5mm carbon spoke). Any insights on whether it's worth going for the CEMA bearings over ENDURO?

Looking at ordering an aero frameset to build up a crit bike for next year. Tavelo and Winspace both available from local retail. Looking at XL frames (183cm, 95kg) value stiffness and durability over pure weight.

T1600 looks too low at the front end, plus I hate the "exhausts"
T1550 fit looks better, designs are a bit naff
Arow looks great, but SL also available for not a huge jump in price. Worth it?

Hyper bars Vs AVRO looks about even.
Will be riding on Winspace Hyper 5 D60s with 30mm

Anyone got ride reviews across more than 1? Lots of spec reviews without much ride coverage

Hey all,

I’ve been following this Serenade thread for quite some time now and finally decided to pull the trigger and order a set of these rims. I’ve also been in contact with Silver Xia, the owner, who’s been really helpful and quick to reply.

On the Serenade website, the 60/60mm wheels are currently listed only in UD Paintless finish and come with black hubs. I asked Silver if they could do the hubs in silver, and he confirmed they could — so I’ve gone with silver hubs and UD Paintless Glossy rims as a custom request.

Here are the specs of the wheels I’ve ordered:
   •   Depth: 60mm front & rear (hooked)
   •   Width: 34mm external / 23mm internal
   •   Finish: UD Paintless Glossy (adds about 5 days before shipping)
   •   Spokes: Carbon bladed
   •   Hubs: Serenade SR278C (DT Swiss–style 36T ratchet, steel bearings)
   •   Freehub: Shimano HG (XDR also available)
   •   Load limit: 110 kg
   •   Claimed weight: 1280 g
   •   Price: $569 USD + $60 USD shipping (~£470 GBP all-in)

That said, I’m currently just trying to get the claimed weight confirmed.
Someone pointed out that if you add up the published weights of the rims, hubs, and spokes, it comes out closer to 1322 g, not 1280 g.

It could just be a typo on the website, or maybe the info I’ve been given isn’t fully up to date — I’m waiting for Silver to confirm. Either way, the price is very competitive, and it’ll be really interesting to get a set of these in hand and see how they perform on the road.

I’ll update this thread once they arrive with the actual weights and first impressions.

Would love an update on these once received, it's basically the exact spec I was looking at ordering (although 95kg rider on TT bike might be right at the top of the weight limit!)

Anyone got any experience with Elita One cockpit?

I've seen their seatpost recommended a lot. Decent price and nice design
