Hey Eskimomo thanks for posting that - I was wondering the same if Peter had anything coming.

I am in the market for the same type of frame, I have so far found there seem to be three models available.

Not keen on BB86 personally, would want BSA. Is the seat post not standard as it comes with frame?

These look identical, 100x15mm axle - not a problem but road frames seem to be going 12mm.

I have only just started looking, I have heard of all of the above except carbonda, will have to research the others for quality I guess.

Has anyone seen any other variants? I think the Chinese Carbon frames are only just waking up to these with flat mount brakes.

I am also interested in how people are getting on, I have a CS-196 frame (650b) on order from Peter and he pointed me to this thread as being the same setup as the 256 29er frame.

I have bought a M785-E2 Shimano FD, so when I get my frame (still in production) I will see how it fits I guess, looks like with the same wrap around cable setup as others have found with the acute angle. I am running 2x10 so I just hope I can get it smooth.

Chain Reaction Cycles in the UK also have good prices on the XT brakes and discs at the moment, just ordered some up for my first carbon mtb build  :)
