You could look into the FastTT extender plates. I think someone here has used them.I use the adjustable angle reach extenders. They screw right into the provided base plate.
Has anybody mounted aerobars on their Tantan cockpit?I dont think its possible unless you can conjour up a custom clamping system.Theres no mounting system like factor, and the bars are not round. The bars are ripoffs of the roval rapides bars on sl8's
Are you going with Sram xplr 13sp?Whatever the previous generation of 12 speed sram red axs is. I think its the D1 version.
I want to replace some screws with Ti-Screws. My frame didn‘t arrive yet, I can send you dimensions when I get the frame. So excited, since it’s the first bike I‘ll build.it comes with the seatpost di2 holder. It dangles from the bottom of the seatpost, so depending on your saddle height, you may have to cut your seatpost to make it work.
Anybody know if the frame comes with Di2 battery holder?
Curious did you use a t47A BB or regular t47? if the latter, no shifting or install issues with the cranks?I used a t47i with some spacers, but a t47a is the right move for this frame. At some point I will get a t47a to swap out.
Starting the build...still waiting for my Rotor BB...;-). Winow Extensions also ordered but that can take more time to arrive so will use my current extensions.Frame and the monoriser look incredible. Really having a tough time deciding between this and the Velobuild TT frame. My main concerns are the slack seatube angle, which changes with saddle position, and being able to adjust the angle on the front end. What are you planning on doing to get the right angle for the tt bars?
I'm struggling with the sizing of the x68 / SL8 and seeking advice. I´m 178cm and inseam of 82cm. Saddle height from center bb to top of the saddle is atm 76cm and stem 110.We're the same height, I've only ever ridden size 54 frames. I ride a 120 stem and use 20mm of spacers. Absolutely no issue with my fit on this bike. 56 would probably feel like a tractor if you've only ever ridden 54's. Just my two cents
I currently ride a Scott Addict 20 2015 and a Scott Speedster Gravel 2023, both in 54. According to SL8 sizing i fall exactly between 54 and 56. I tend to go to a 54 atm but i fear that it is too agressive and need a spacer stack of ~2cm to fit me well.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Hi,Can you share a picture of the headtube? Prefereably front on so that we can see how thin it is in comparison to the real frame.
I come to you again regarding my experience ordering from Seraph Official Store.
It has not been a pleasant exchange so far and I wanted to untangle the net with the seller but as customer protection and return window is closing, I'm choosing to speak, and see.
I ordered, on the 18 august, the frame in black, 49cm.
As soon as i made the order, asked for "can i change to size 52 and 110 380mm handlebar?" and seller said yes.
Seller also asked to extend shipping time, for production reasons, wich I already did because I know how this works.
on 09/01, he sent me tracking link.
In the meantime, I asked for thru axle size, wich he never really gave me, only products link and "i'll give you later" (why I asked it to Joey)
I received the frame the same day as Joey.
Mounted the bike on the same day. took me around 2 hours to build it properly (no bar tape yet, few adjustments.) took it for a ride and everything felt great (what a beast).
BUT
The handlebars 110-380 (correct size) are so flimsy it's incredible. I push hella watts and this is NOT a viable option, safe too. the GPS mount is so feeble I can see the GPS bending in excess of 1.5cm down when i take speed bumps. That' a real no-no. The D-shaped steer tube is flexy too, so that makes the handlebar bend extremely in the front. I AM SCARED SHITLESS when going fast.
It has something to do with the fact that my position changed and went from ltwoo with great hand retention to Wheeltop, wich has less hand retention.
All of this can be mitigated with the fitting of a new HB wich was always assumed right of the bat.
BUT front tube is NOT the same as factor original (it's thicker) so... this issue is for later tbh

I mean, I'm no stranger to defects on frame and always thought QC was a thing BUT IT IS NOT. Just look at the pictures and laugh at me. I won't even explain how much wheels, driveside change, measurments went up to always get the same conclusion.
Pictures will talk for themselves. Seller thought 30$ refund was safe. I work as a bike mechanic in Decathlon, that's an instant refund.

Also I don't recommend buying it, BUT it's perfectly well made inside as well as Joey's, paint is great, everything outside the wheel fit snug, UHD is perfect, T47A assymetric is NEEDED.

My painted frame shipped 6 days ago. Still pending for the tracking number to pick up, but my frame was delayed by the painter being away. Picture I got from them attached.I asked for one to be included and they said they'll throw one in. I wouldn't know where to find a 3 holed computer mount otherwise and have had no luck finding one.
Question for computer mount. The handlebar has a 3 holes design. First time I see that. Anyone knows of a mount that fits that design? Maybe they included one with the bar.
