Tideacebike

An external test of frame durabillity would be great since I was very close buying one but tideace support told me some very high max. rider weight like 160kg which would be crazy high.

Nonetheless it would be amazing to win one 🚴‍♀️💨

Well there won't be chinese callbacks after bad quality control / issues.
It's already a mess if there is stuff happening like this but atleast DT Swiss took responsibility and checked every single rim.

Are you sure you want to drink out of an unverified chinese product?
There are already very bad chemicals in more controlled products of brands but directly out of china this would be too much for me personally...

There is some very cheap aliexpress matt black sticker which I'm using sometimes for stuff like that

Frankly it looks good to me and I see the seatstays as more of a style pick.
With Tour magazine style testing with a lower body only dummy they might have a negative aero impact, but IRL with you pedaling constantly and the dirty airflow around your legs the impact should be minimal. It's a bit similar with aero seatposts, IRL less important than people think (they still have an impact) and the added comfort of a round seatpost is something that most people should value higher.

Interesting. So Trek Madone should be less aero then competitors, too?
Is there an aero test proofing that?
The Tideace frame looks pretty thick from front view, this should be an disadvantage?
My biggest concern is that there aren't any reviews on this frame concerning safety/durabillity even after being some months on the market...don't want to be the first finding his teeth on tarmac...

Any new experiences / reviews on this frame? It looks so nice but it's always a wild shot buying frames without any reviews... :'(
