What is the widest tires you guys have been able to fit on this frame? Could it fit some gravel tyres?no this wont fit a gravel tire. 34 is the max i would comfortably ride. I personally ride 30's
Well, this was probably the easiest bike I've ever put together.Thx for confirming the GCN thing, I started to believe it was me. Build of two of these bikes and both have a fair bit of wiggling when leaning on the bar. Still the fastest bike I ever rode.
All the cables and hoses went through with no fuss or bother. Kudos to Lightcarbon for the bars, they really were simple.
Probably a five minute job with a file to tidy up the brake mounts.
BB was nice and clean and threaded in by hand.
30k shakedown this morning with no issues.
Comfortable and nipped along quite happily. Hit 70kph with confidence and no wobbles.
No seat slipping either at the clamp or in the frame
35.5mm wam rear tyre didn't touch the frame.
You can wiggle and shift the bars and make things look alarming like GCN, but I can do that with my FL1 or my brother's Cervelo S5 bars. I've put a 100mm fork expander in but don't think you need to. I gave it a couple of sprints with my meager wattage and it all felt solid enough.
Good bike I think.
When I ordered my frameset, there was no integrated handle bar option. So I just used the provided headset and c-ring that came with it. I still wonder why GCN was having issues even after switching to a separate bar and stem.
Tried to record the flex i see, hopefully these files attach correctly. The bike is in a trainer for these videos.Thx for the videos. My movement is mostly left/right I feel (It's way more than on my other bikes). I will swap the metal c ring for a plastic one and try again.
I get similar flex on my Condor (steel frame, full carbon fork) and my Tideace gr201. Worth noting that like in the GCN video there's a lot of tyre compression which could exaggerate how it feels and looks? I also noticed that when I compress it I can see the tiniest gap forming at the back of the headset cover spacer (can't think of the name) which would suggest the steerer is flexing slightly?
Undid stem to check and I have the metal c-ring (silver in colour) it's about 1mm thick by the looks of it, hard to tel
My size 58 feels like it has the same problem that GCN had with the frame. There seems to be more movement in the head tube/handlebar than on my other bikes.
Just finished up an AeroGrav build. Only took it for a short 8Km shake out ride but it's feeling really good so far. Moved over most of the components from my VB GF-002 build:I see they hired the painter from SPCycle mentoined in the other thread

It's available on their Ali product page. The first of their product pictures is a video showing how to assemble the headset components and cockpit. Unfortunately I couldn't find any torque spec but I suspect if one was to ask the seller they would provide this info or maybe it comes with printed assembly instructions?Thx; they replied to me already 5-6 nm for the fork lock bolt ( as they call it)
The product video shows rotating the top cap 90 degrees to tighten the headsetWhere did you find the product video? Any information on how hard to tighten the bolts?

Question for those who have built up the LTK266: There was a split crown race included with the headset bearings, but it doesn't seem like the bike needs it. Did you use the included crown race?Bije doenst need the seperate crown; fork has a build in crown race
For those looking to order an X68, here is my journey so far.Damn that sucks. But you wille be able to install the Bars. Just use sandpaper on the inside of the bar to grind a little bit off. You will get it to fit.
As I posted in another thread, I ordered the X68 from TanTan on June 26th and the frame was delivered on August 19th. Roughly 7 weeks from order to delivery. It was delivered via UPS, as of yet, no additional cost for customs or tariffs. $719 for the frame kit and $160 for shipping.
The quality control (or lack thereof) for my frame/fork is questionable at best. There is a scratch on the right fork leg and small area on the seat tube just under the seatpost hole that didn’t get thorough paint coverage.
In the grand scheme of things, these are minor. The major annoyance is that the handlebar/stem does not fit around the steerer tube. From what I can tell, the diameter of the stem opening is undersized. I have an EXS Aerover handlebar/stem that does fit the steerer tube. The fork is the heavier fork, I think it weighed in at 406 grams.
Also, the clearance in the drive side chainstay for the Di2 cable (installing 12 speed Ultegra groupset) to the rear derailleur is very tight and took some effort to get the cable through. I haven’t tried running the brake hose through the non-drive side chainstay yet, so fingers crossed.
None of these are dealbreakers, but buyer beware.
