-West biking helmet: My point of reference is my Lazer Z1. A little warmer which was to be expected as it's got less ventilation, but it puts the lazer to shame in overall build quality (in appearance, I've obviously not crash tested it and have no intention to). Straps are great, ALL the padding is much faster to dry and much smoother, and the adjusting is in another league (perhaps says more about how shit adjusting is on lazer's proprietary dial...). How is the sizing on your Inbike LS compared to the chart they've got? I'm usually an EU Small for a slim (165cm 63kg) but their chart would put me at a medium.

On ali, there is a 3 pcs set for 2 bucks in the 3-for-6 section (5 different options, 3 different prints each).

Other than that, they go for below 2 bucks up to 3ish when bought separately, still cheap. I have one of those 3 pcs sets and they feel pretty much like my genuine buffs. Can't say anything about longevity, but for now, I like them; ordered a bunch more with different prints from the coins discount section, too, for effectively around 1 buck a piece.

Did you have a link to these and were they made of a breatheable/cool material? It's may fly/midge season and don't need the extra protein during my rides at the moment. Also open to whatever else folks might suggest to intervene between bugs and my face in the spring and summer.

I agree with the sentiment, but I would probably take a risk one way or another since I am opting for a budget route be it through local classifieds or otherwise. First pair will not be a winner one way or another, and would be okay being out $40CAD vs $140CAD on my first miss. Would you have any recs for where I can find old season shoes (and perhaps cleat recs)? My bike has Shimano PD-530 pedals which I understand are SPD and not SPD-SL.

Does anyone have any experiences or recommendations for cheap/entry level shoes? Getting into (road) cycling this summer and have not had much luck finding things second hand locally.
