Any super packable lightweight rain/shower jackets anyone likes? Leaning towards the Decathlon one at this time.

Only solid alternative to Garmin varia is igpsport Sr mini. I have both magene and igpsport and Sr mini is way better

I believe @GPLama suggests the Sigma and Lezyne radar units as solid alternatives.

The external pod is the problem. It might not allow enough clearance between a SPD shoe/cleat. It'll also get knocked around a lot off-road. I did the Assoima DUO SPD hack a while ago and needed to modify my shoe for clearance... and the pod on those got dinged up a lot (although it still worked fine).

That makes a lot of sense. Perhaps in version 2. Thanks Lama, helpful as always!

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to order a new wheelset for the wife but still not sure which one would be the best. It should be a budget option, and she really likes the sound of the ratchet hubs. So the two options I have:
  • Elitewheels SLR Disc (around €550 with shipping+taxes)
  • Aeroraptor 50 Wave (around €428 with shipping+taxes)

I only have experience with the Elitewheels SLR Gravel and I'm really happy with it, but the price difference of 28% makes the aeroraptor a nice option (a little bit too nice of a price?).

What would be your recommendation if you would have to choose between them, or does anyone has long term experience with this Tagoola wheelset?

Thank you!

I cant speak to the Elitewheels, but I very much enjoy my 50 wave wheels. zero complanits

Do you have a stand? If you put it on the stand and spin the cranks, will it do it? And in any gear or just small ring on cassette?

Is it the loud snaps at 9&26 sec in the video?

two wheels and same problem seems highly unlikely. like previous poster, need a video.

arrived yesterday. Got them mounted up today, still need sealant but I'll wait until spring before I add that. Thanks again Matter!

All Road on a Giant Revolt gravel bike - Maxxis Aspen 29 x 2.1 (700 x 52c) tyres went on really easily after 30 minutes in the sun.  Removed the "AERO RAPTOR" on one side.

How did you remove the decals? This is how I plan to run mine, with just the A/R

They look great. I think mine should be here this week.
