Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Wheeltop EDS GeX

Has anyone had any issues with the connection between derailleur and shifters dropping out? On 2 occasions now my shifters have stopped working mid ride for about a minute. Each time I’ve thought the derailleur battery must have died but it starts working again and battery has been almost full both times.

I’ll try changing the shifter batteries see if that helps.

My girlfriend’s bike does exactly what you’re describing. It happens randomly, and most rides are fine.

Never had that issue on my bike.

I have a bike built with GRX 400 lever (10s)  paired with a LTwoo GR7 RD. Works very well. Much better than with the GRX RD.

This one is my favorite. I especially like that it comes in 34cm width, though it comes in wider sizes if you prefer.  ;)

Here's my experience with the battery life. On my RD, I can do a bit more than 2000Km on a single charge. On my girl friend RD, it is at most 800km per charge. The battery on my right shifter died after 1000km. The one on my left shifter did 5000km. Both shifters on my GF bike are still fine after 4500km.

I bought the 2 groupsets from a seller called Weko Ln on ali and after I told him about the difference on the RD battery, He sent me a complete RD free of charge. I did not test it yet.

I rode the groupset at 2deg celsius without any issue.

Did anyone have issues with battery lvl indication on wahoo? My Elemnt Bolt V2 shows low battery warning but battery lvl is still 50% on wheeltop app.

Same with my Garmin 840.

Had the exact same issue with the gex RD touching the chainstay on my GR201 w/o chain mounted. Did solve it in the same way, 2 links less and b-screw adjustment.

I also run into that problem and I used the same fix.

In the front a 2.2 should fit easly.
I also had a look at the GR201 and while I generally like the frame, I am waiting for one to truly fit 2.2s - I am in no rush anyway.

Can you share your height and what is the frame size and stem length? Thanks.

I emailed the manufacturer and it is possible to order a frame without any decals except the AF01 on the top tube that you have to keep.
