I got myself a legit S-Works Tarmac SL8 after riding the X68. I will not disassemble the real one, but if you need specific side by side comparison, shots, etc. please let me know. I know Patrick also had a real one too, but if I recall correctly, he got rid of it before getting his hands on the X68.

So I'm about 200 miles in. Mostly flats with the occasional 7-10% climbs/descents. Frame appears to be holding well. Quite nimble and responsive. Bike gets shaky on descents around 50km/h (31mi/h) - Could also be due to the fact that I dont have much experience at that speed. The bottle cages that came with the bike are quite flimsy and I have to screw them again every 2 rides or so. It appears the vibration during rides are unscrewing them.

As a weekend warrior, I have yet to be passed by other solo riders... take that as you want regarding the frame or the rider...

I believe I'm one of the few with a 58 frame and also a heavier rider 90-100kg (depending if im in/off season). Roads here are also shit for a G7 country.

10-18 days shipping to UK, that’s a long shipping time  it’s been 8 days so far.

I'm not familiar with manufacturing processes, but a month for a paint job kinda solidify the rumors that this frame isn't made in-house.

Frame paint time: 1 month
Shipping time is about 25-35 days
