I like the frame storage from my trek checkpoint sl gen 2 very much.

Never had problems with it and I wouldn't buy a gravel bike without it.

I like the fm 376 but for me is the deal breaker that the bottles are mounted to high on the frame.

I don't really understand why the bottle cage has been positioned so high on the frame. Personally, I find it quite disappointing, as I often use a frame bag.

It seems like it should be fairly straightforward to mount the bottle cage on the storage compartment cover instead.

To be honest, this design choice is one of the reasons why I decided not to purchase the frame. Had the bottle cage been positioned differently, I would likely have bought it.

Was there a specific design reason or consideration behind this decision?

I have purchased multiple products from Angler (DFS) including carbon rims and hubs.

My latest issue concerns spoke lengths. Because the rims and hubs were purchased from the same supplier, I specifically asked them to provide the correct spoke lengths for the wheel build. They advised 260 mm and 278 mm, and I ordered the spokes based on that recommendation.

During the wheel build it became clear that the recommended spoke lengths were incorrect. Even with the nipples fully threaded, the spokes remained too loose to achieve proper tension. I measured the spokes to confirm they were the lengths ordered and also verified the dimensions using an independent spoke calculator, which indicated substantially different spoke lengths.

Unfortunately, rather than reviewing the calculation and taking responsibility for the recommendation, the suggested solution was simply to purchase different spokes or nipples at my own expense.

What makes this more disappointing is that this is not the first issue I have experienced. With a previous wheelset, the rim decals were noticeably different in size. Initially I was told this was not possible. After providing photographs, the issue was acknowledged, but no solution was offered.

The products themselves may be good value, but based on my experience, customer support becomes difficult when a problem is identified. In both cases, the issue was eventually acknowledged, but I was left to deal with the consequences myself.

As a customer, I expect not only good products but also support when mistakes happen. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

I think it's a beautiful frame. The only real miss, in my opinion, is how high the bottle cage sits.With the mount placed that high, it's almost impossible to fit a frame bag properly.

If the change this than this would be my new frame.

I think this has to do with cultural differences. In Northern Europe, the principle of "a deal is a deal" is often taken quite seriously. In Southern Europe, this can be somewhat less strict. In China, people generally do not like to say "no" directly either.

This is definitely a pretty substantial frame. I initially planned to go for the XCMS GRT, but in the end I find it simply too expensive. Building it up myself would bring the total cost close to something like a Canyon Grizl — and that one will likely hold its value much better.In terms of weight, there's barely any difference compared to the GRT, and the feedback on Mondiance's build quality seems solid. The only downside for me is the slightly longer chainstays; I would have preferred 425 mm.

I'm leaning toward ordering this frame soon as the replacement for my Trek Checkpoint SL Gen 2.

I like the frame much, but I don't like that you have too buy a aftermarket pouch.

Feels like it's not complete.

Does anybody know if there is some frame protection on the down tube of the frame, and is it possible to mount an additional bottle cage there

I only don't understand that the bolts of the stem/handlebar aren't black. It looks cheap.

Anyone have this integrated handlebar on his gravelbike. Hope it is not to stiff/harsh.

I wan't to use it with GRX 822 (1x12). Is it possible to fully integrate the cable for the shifter?
