Do you really need to calibrate it before every ride?

looking MINT. Also noticed that you seem to have a different seatpost? Is this something you added on?
That´s correct, the standard seatpost was not on stock, and they offered me that one to avoid more waiting times. I didn't want to have the setback anyway so that was a good coincidence.

Bike has finally arrived and so far i’m very happy.
I did change the tires and tubes from what they send me, as well as the bike computer mount and hot waxed the chain.
I was surprised that they even configured the di2 in the e-tube app during build up.
Only downside so far is that there seems to be some air inside the brake system… so i need to bleed the brakes. It is drivable but not perfect.

Without pedals it comes out at exactly 8kg.

So far i just did a few meters on my street and it felt fast already. Looking forward for the first longer ride :)

Looks nice! I would probably take it apart to chez that grease has properly been used where I want to see grease, same for thread lock…

Yes, i will definitely check that when the bike arrives.

I planned on building up the bike on my own, but they offered a very good price for the complete bike with 105 Di2 that i went that way now.
Choose all black and really looking forward getting the bike now. I'm curious how the build turned out and how much work I'll still have to do on it.

I'm considering a TT-X21 frame and wondering about tire clearance. TanTan lists the maximum tire width as 32mm, but I'm curious if any owners have successfully run wider tires? I'm also thinking about possibly getting a second wheelset for light gravel riding, so any insights on how much extra clearance might be available would be really helpful.

Hi everyone,

I went back into the posts and saw that some people had managed to get a zero offset seatpost made for the 099. From memory, this one is exactly the same as the TT-X21. I'm looking for such a seatpost because the offset bothers me a lot on the TT-X21. Do you know if Velobuild still sells it? Anyone tried it on TT-X21 ?

Many thanks,

I just spoke to Velobuild today and they still sell it :)
Cost they told me are 69$ including shipping to Germany.

I can not answer the question regarding the TT-X21 but i‘m in the same position as i think about buying a TT-X21 plus the straight seatpost.
