I am building the bike up with a Force E1 2by setup. BB is a Rotor T4729 internal. Now I am struggling with the spacers. Sram Website says 3mm on the drivetrain side. Following these sram instructions there is a space so that the crank can move. The BB manual says 3.5mm on the none drivetrain side and 6mm on the drive train side. Following these rotor instructions it doesn’t seem to fit either.

Anyone any ideas? Trial an error? Something like 1.5mm NDS and 4mm DS should work…

Intersting that they posted the bike with the new Lightcarbon handlebar, must be a customer bike :D
Looks to be the T4 Ultra handlebars and not the new Lightcarbon ones. These handlebars don't have the traditional two bolt clamping mechanism

I really like the idea of an affordable bayonet fork-type bike with a focus on low frontal area in development. But, I think it's essential to step back and not jump on the fit more important than design wagon.

If the goal is to grow into a brand that has products raced at the highest level or even is common among top amateurs, +25mm in stack and a shorter reach is a bad idea as a rule for a race bike, particularly if you are also playing with reach and front-end geometry. An aero endurance bike is an oxymoron, and there are plenty of aero-looking endurance bikes that customers can buy whose main function is to look the part.

If there are the resources for it, I would probably spend a lot of time thinking about the cockpit design and how to make the bike more adjustable than today's bikes, using the differences that an S5-like bayonet front end allows. The spacer system is different; the max and min spacer height might also be different. You might also gain the ability to add stack and reach in two places, both between the stem and the bike and between the bar and the stem.

Adjustable stack like Cervelo S5 combined with reach adjustment like the Simplon Pride II would be great for adjustability cockpitwise. Maybe three seatposts (?) (normal 25 mm and zero offset, and an additional forward offset to mimic a steep seat angle?)

Where did you find the product video? Any information on how hard to tighten the bolts?

It's available on their Ali product page. The first of their product pictures is a video showing how to assemble the headset components and cockpit. Unfortunately I couldn't find any torque spec but I suspect if one was to ask the seller they would provide this info or maybe it comes with printed assembly instructions?

Do you preload the bearing with a separate top cap first?  I can't see how else that works...

The product video shows rotating the top cap 90 degrees to tighten the headset

Is there any update on the quality of this carbon crank with adjustable length?

I would not recommend. My pedal insert on the drive side became loose and tightening my pedal to even more than 50 Nm did not fix the problem. It started making noise yesterday after approximately 500 km. I am going back to a Rotor crank.

I have a pair of LFZ titanium spindle pedals. They seem well made and I am more than happy so far. The feel clicking in and out is very comparable to Shimano pedals, I would almost call it the same. I have only used them for ~1000 km so far, so no comment on durability. Spacers do look horrible, at least the bottom one is hideous. Also looks like they indeed settled on not using UDH which is a bummer. One will have to 3d-print their own top caps + spacers to use other cockpits which won't be too much of a hassle I think

If you want to use carbon aero drop bars, Deda Superzero RS and Vinci as well as some RXL SL handlebars have a wide enough clampjng area to mount some TT clip ons.
Does anyone know about other aero carbon bars that would be able to accommodate regular clip ons?
