cracked while riding or what happened?

Took a hit to the rear wheel on a square edge while riding some rocky ST. The hit was transmitted thru the whole bike but I was under the impression whatever damage occurred, would be localized to the rear wheel... Finished said ride and noticed the damage while standing around after. I wanna say it was a fluke, as the bars have been great in the 1k miles prior…

Hopefully this looks sharper when it’s posted…

I haven’t weighed it since installing these Vittorias (55c Front, 50c Rear) but I’ve been super happy with the bike so far. With 42c Teravails, it weighed something like 21 lbs?

I’ve been extremely happy with my GV-201 from LT. Alisa was easy to work with, I picked a green over carbon and it looks great. I think I paid $769 to get it into the US back in August, was about 28 days from payment to delivery.

Here’s a photo of my GV-201.

Built with wheels/group set from my old gravel bike.

-Lexon Thinline Bars (cracked them so any warranty/contact info anyone can share would be appreciated)
-Bontrager Wheels w/ 25mm internal width
-Victoria T30’s 55c in the front, 50c rear
-GRX 2x11 w/ 50/34 PassQuest Rings and 11-34 cassette
-Rotor crank, Power2Max PM

The bike has been awesome, other than cracking my bars…

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Lexon Warranty?

Here’s a photo of said break. I was riding some ST on my gravel bike, hit a square edge w/ the rear wheel, with the hit being transmitted thru the bike. I thought whatever damage might be visible, would be “localized” to the rear wheel but looks like I was wrong…

Component Deals & Selection / Lexon Warranty?
« on: December 29, 2025, 10:45:47 AM »
Hey Folks, I cracked my Lexon/Ryet ThinLine bars this week and was looking to try and get a warranty replacement seeing as they were purchased in August. AliExpress customer service says the period of coverage has ended but hoping someone here can point me towards a proper channel for contacting Lexon.

I’ve checked their website and social media channels but so far, no dice…

Thanks in advance!

This post is hilarious reading. 10/10 would watch the movie.

I second this...

OP, I'm making my first post just to point out how ridiculous this whole thing is. I agree with you that it is a bummer that something fairly simple, like a post collar was botched. Where I think this gets ridiculous is that you seemingly think that the moral high ground is worth the time, emotion, shipping logistics, making this post, among other things. Not to mention you probably initially purchased the frame with a "budget" in mind, albeit Winspace may be a premium brand in the east(china) it is still a budget brand in the west...

The collar from Winspace broke, after 2 years, even if you swear that you always use a torque wrench, no higher than 5nm, is the wrench calibrated? Do you think a collar on a mid range Specialized hybrid or $4500 Trek road bike (not ISM design) doesn't fail under similar conditions?  I'm guessing the collar was fatigued, bummer indeed but so is your attitude. Go buy something that's CNC'd from Wolftooth, Hope, i9 whatever from an LBS, they must have some hideous anodized collar for you. Please tell them this heartfelt tale of how you were wronged too by the way, I'm sure they will have a ton of sympathy. Maybe they'll give you one for free to get you to leave quicker.

Snide comments aside, as someone who spent 10+ years at a bikeshop and is now at a manufacturer, you seem like the sort of customer most folks come to dread. The validation you seem to be seeking here, is almost as insane as you demanding a company in China ships you a new seatpost collar.
