After experiencing problems with the storage compartment lid—it rattled and I even lost it once with a water bottle attached—Wendy sent me a new, improved lid free of charge within a week. This one doesn't rattle, fits much better, and the lever stays securely locked in the "locked" position. For me, it's a perfect solution with quick implementation. Great job on excellent service!

My winter build is a tribute to Norway... 🇧🇻🥰

Yesterday I received photos of my frame:
Size 58, color: raw carbon glossy
ordered 22.12.2025, photos received: 20.01.20206
ordered with handlebars HBR17 420x110
If someone ordered also 420x110 they are not in stock and you need to wait couple of weeks. I replaced them with 420x120 which are on stock (420x100 too)
Can you tell me your height?

When all you get pictures of frame.. How long time after that you got frame?  I have been waiting over 1 month now🥲🥲🫠
In my case...20 days.
The tracking didn't work at all. I only saw an update after the package arrived.

What can you tell us about that saddle?

The saddle is a custom-made, one-of-a-kind piece. I wanted a Vegvisir logo printed on it, ideally on my favorite saddle, the Selle Italia SLR Carbonio. However, this saddle is only available in colored upholstery, and I already have several of those. To allow the print to be applied, it had to be a hard shell, in this case, a Tune KommVor. It weighs 90g, including the silver effect paint. The artist is Mario Zinn from Germany. I'd be happy to put you in touch if you're interested. But it's not really cheap... :)

Here are a few more examples of my bikes...

My frame arrived, it was perfectly packaged, and everything was in perfect condition. Everything is exactly as I ordered, with a significantly higher quality finish and, above all, a superior paint job. It's difficult to photograph and looks even better and very elegant in person. It's not exactly lightweight... with the paint job, 56cm frame, and storage compartment, it weighs 1190g. But that's fine by me. The fork weighs 460g, the handlebars 315g (380/100), and the seatpost 180g.

I'm very excited to see how the finished build looks. I would have found assembly instructions for, say, the headset helpful. Wendy doesn't offer anything like that. Otherwise, as I mentioned before, I had a pleasant and professional exchange with her. Incidentally, I specifically requested photos after completion. The storage compartment is fantastic; it's easy to use and very secure. From my current perspective, I wholeheartedly recommend a Lightcarbon frame!

I wonder if it depends on who your sales rep is. Is Chloe providing QC photos, but Wendy, not?

Wendy sent me several photos for quality control. My interactions with Wendy have been very professional so far.

I dealt with chloe@lightcarbon.com and she was 10/10 to deal with.
Same with Wendy...

Waoo this chrome paint looks insane. looking forward to follow the build-up. I wonder how much weight does it add on the frame ( not relevant ) but guess 2-300grams ?
That would be much...I hope a little less.

Agreed, it looks so good. Especially with the tube shapes the chrome reflections are more pronounced on the LCR018 than on the LCR017. Looking forward to seeing how it looks like in natural light. Can you take a million pics when it arrives and of your build please!!
Yessss...that's the plan!

Ive been waiting for your pics as i havent put my order in for the same paint scheme in a 50. It looks better than I expected! I like that its more chrome forward than a regular silver. Congrats on the pick up and am looking forward to your complete build.
I'm glad you like it! Personally, I think the chrome silver combined with glossy black looks even better than the chronos finish on the SEKA Spear. In the photos, some areas, like the fork, probably appear darker than they actually are. I'm really curious to see how it will look in daylight and fully assembled!

Here are the first pics from Wendy. My 56er frame is ready for take off to Germany. The colours are not really easy to take good pictures...but it's a first impression.

Yes, the Caracal Race would also be my favorite, but I'm afraid that doesn't fit 🙄

I have the Caracal Race 40 on a rim with 19mm inner width...and it's 42mm. I think with 21mm it grows up to 43mm.

Yeah I'm ok with the chrome silver as well, just wanted to confirm if you had the same feedback from LC. I still haven't officially ordered yet, still deciding what i want to do with the decals. I'm also playing with the idea of moving the silver chrome finish on the seat stays up to highlight the "eagle eye". Super excited to see how yours turns out! Whats the lead time?

Decals are not easy...my plan is a nordic symbol called VEGVISIR. I love it...

Nice idea with the silver wind eye, but I think it's not so easy to get a cut to black on the seat tube.

Wendy said it's 30 working days for the frame and paintjob + 20 working days for shipping. So it's november.

The big question I have before buying is compatibility of front derailleur and 38-40mm WAM tyres. I know for example that BMC Roadmachine has 40mm tyre clearance, 415mm chainstays but there is no room for 40mm tyres if you run the front derailleur, it rubs. I hope that is not the case here.

I think it's not possible. If you're looking for a gravel frame...there are other options.
