I had one, but the frame was too small for me and I will order a new one in size L.

I have also a frame from SPCycle - M05 and the quality is fair for the price.

Very nice build and I thick you hit the sweet spot.

Do you know if they sell on request also handlebars with longer stems than 100 mm?

The tire clearance is about 7 mm with a Maxxis Rekon Race 29 x 2.35"
I could fix the issue with the headset. I had to put washers of 2 mm under the cap. Now anything is fine.

I finished the build and today was the first ride.
Anything was fine and the build was straight forward, but today I remarked, that the handlebar doesn't turn smooth. I made a mistake at the installation of the headset bearing and it doesn't work how it should. But I think this is my mistake. If anyone knows how to - help is appreciated.
I am happy with the frame. The quality of the paint is fine.

I have learnt a lot in this forum, so I decided to write a build thread for my new build, because there is little information about this frame. Please excuse my poor English
I was hesitating, if I should build a gravel bike or a hardtail; then I decided to build a hardtail. I already own a fully (Scott Genius) and different road bikes (e.g. BXT SL 115).

My checklist was:

less than CHF 2'000.- (appr. € 1'800.-)
around 10 kg
threaded bb
no cables through the headset
compatible for dropper post
modern geometry
mixture of used an new parts

I bought second hand, but in very good condition:
Shimano XTR groupset (1x12)
Crankbrothers highline 11 dropper post
Rockshox Reba RL solo air 100 mm travel

The wheeels are new from Carl'Z: XC Master. Carbon Rim, DT Swiss 350 hubs
Most other parts (saddle, handlebar, stem) are from AliX.
I will post a full list of parts incl weight and costs

The frame is a Spcycle M05 in transparent orange, size M.

Today the frame arrived after about 4 weeks since order.

First impressions:
Really light (1'0004 gr incl. screws for bottle holder)
Clean (bb-area, steerer tube)
Rather good paint quality except of the left dropout (last photo)

I have some questions:
Do I need rubber plugs at the hole, where the cables are led into the frame?
Where should I place the cable for the dropper post? Above or below of the bottom bracket?

Inspired by Chinertown, building myself:
Road bike BXT SL-115 full carbon, Ultegra 11-sp, Di2. Elite ENT, many parts from Ali. I was sharing this build on Chinertown
I try to sell BXT custom built road bikes on different platforms (similiar to ebay) in Switzerland, but until now, there is no interest at all
Hardtail MTB: I recently bought an SPcycle M05 which I will build with Shimano XT. I will share my experience about that.

I have ordered yesterday an M05 and paid CHF 350.- (approx. € 320.-) including headset.
I observed the Elite wheels have no special discount now. It's hard to get some transparency over all types of wheels. Maybe I go with Serenade this time.
From Ali I will buy Balugoe saddle, Kalloy Uno, Dodici stem.
For the rest, I buy used parts in the next weeks (Shimano XT, dropper post Crankbrothers Highline). Most difficult is finding a good fork for a nice price

I'm looking for a similiar frame, but with additional wishes:
Modern race geometry
Possibility to install a dropper post, diameter > 27.2 mm
Not fully integrated cables (not through the headset because of water and dirt)
Mechanical shifting (1x12)
Price < € 500.-

I would appreciate some suggestions
