I designed and printed my spacers on my 3d printer.

The main problem was that I have a Velobuild frame, but the integrated handlebar with the shortest stem was too long. So I bought a Kosevlobike handlebar with a shorter stem. Since the shape of the velobuild frame is not the same as the Kosevlobike handlebar, I designed a part to make this transition.

After several months dailing in my position on the indoor trainer, I got the correct spacer height. For me it was 45cm. Quite high, but I am not as athletic as I want to be. Since I don't think I will change the height anymore, I didn't design a 2 piece part. I believe this might decrease the rigidity and the impact strength.

For the materials, i used PETG.
I had bought a spool of carbon fiber enforced PETG, but I have read that the carbon fiber envorced PETG has a lower impact strenght in the Z-Axis ( https://blog.bambulab.com/bambu-carbon-fiber-filaments/ ). And for as far as i think, this Z-Axis impact strength is the most important one. I live in Flanders, and the roads and cobbles give quite some battering, which translates to impact on the Z-Axis.
And, since the impact on the Z-Axis is on compression, I don't think that layer-adhesion is a big issue.
For the creep, I have left some milimeters to retighten afterwards. If I have to tighten to frequent, I will change the material or reprint.

I used a 100% infill

I have ridden it now only for 60km. Including a downhill cobblestone section. The spacers held well.

If the spacers don't hold, I will update my findings here. So, unless if I had a very catastrophic failure, when there is no repost, the PETG spacer is holding on.

I finally got my new Velobuild 268 on the road. After about 4 months on the indoor trainer, I got my position dailed in and finished the build yesterday evening.
Built without any problems.

I rode it about 60km. Some cobbles as well. And everything was OK. Only problem, i forgot to charge my batteries, so could not test it as I wanted. However, it felt really great!

I bought the integrated handlebar supplied with the bike, but the stem was too long. So I bought another handlebar from Kocevlobike on aliexpress. I had to design and 3d print the spacers to make a transition from the velobuild frame to the Kocevlobike handle bar.

I am selling my new Velobuild VB-R-268 frameset in Matt Ice Break White.
It is a size M and has an integrated handlebar of 380/90.
It is a new frame that arrived end november 2025 and is now in Belgium. It has 0 road-kilometers and no damage. It has only been tested on an indoor trainer for about 15 hours.

The reason for selling:
I have built the frame for 80% for the moment. I have set it up in my home-trainer so I could dail in my position.
However, I am not able to get my position dailed in. The total reach for me, at the moment, is too long. My saddle is already fully slammed to the front, and my shifters are already pointing up as much as possible.
The only thing I can do now to get it OK, is getting a new handlebar with a shorter stem. But it seems that is not very common to get an integrated cockpit with a stem length of about 40cm. At least, I can't find it.
(And yes, I know it exists when I buy the stem and handlebar seperate, but I am not really interested in that for visual purposes)
So, I am thinking of getting a new frame, but in size S. This is why I am selling this M frame.

The fork is not yet cut. The brake calipers are already mounted and the cables are routed to the handlebar. However, the brake cables are not yet connected to the brakes themselve because I can not get the exact position for me.

I have bought this frame at €580. And it is in Belgium for the moment.
I want to sell the frame at a small discount.

I wanted, I can fully built the bike (Sram Force Etap E1 (newest version), Cranckset 170-46/33 with spider quarck powermeter)
And eventually sell it with an Aero 50 Plus wheelset with Continental Grand Prix 5000 s tr 700x32 tires.
The price can be discussed at that moment, but will be around €3.500 (which is just the cost of all components seperately)

It all depends on how you want to get the bike. Everything can be discussed.
