Do you mind listing your measurements and how you picked the equipment? The bike looks awful but your position on the bike looks pretty normal, so it would be useful to know more.
Have you tried descending with it? Do you use it only on the flat?
I'm 182 cm tall, with long legs, and I ride a size 56 frame. I have a 110 mm +6° stem, and the rest of the reach comes from the handlebar itself. 😄
I literally live in the mountains, at around 800 metres above sea level. So yes, I've already done some mountain descents with the M3, and the control is simply excellent, especially when riding in the drops.
Actually, even the top position on this handlebar feels much more stable and gives me better control than, for example, my previous 340 mm BikeDoc handlebar.
For example, in this activity I was descending a fairly easy mountain road, but I'm confident that I could handle a proper winding mountain road with the M3 very well too:
