I am thinking of building up a falath evo+. But my 'problem' ist, that I don't like the handlebar. Has anyone built it up with a y-shape stem like the s5, r8 rs or pride II? Does it fit with the frame?

Here’s another build. Put it together last autumn and didn’t have any major issues, apart from Velobuild never sending me a replacement for the incorrectly painted bottle mount even though they promised they would…
Build was relatively easy, after I gave up trying to make Juin Tech F1 brakes work and switched to Riderever Triva ones.

It’s my first tri-bike, so I have nothing to compare it to. Fun to ride, and certainly fast enough to make me the bottleneck, not the bike


However, the seat post has recently started slipping when under load during a ride. I first noticed it after going over an extended patch of grooved asphalt - pure washboard. I wonder if that might have damaged something, but I can’t see any signs of that.

What’s the maximum torque for the seatpost wedge? Are there any good tricks to secure the seat post better?

Hi,
had the same problem. I used some carbon assembly paste around and also on the installed grip tape on the seatpost.
Used 6.5Nm and voila, no issues anymore.

Guys, can you tell me who installed the systems with the di2 battery, how did you fix it? Maybe there is some kind of 3d printable model to keep the battery in the seatpost, or some other options.
So far, I've only ordered a frame, I'm choosing a groupset, I'm leaning towards the LTWOO eRX-TT, but I don't know if I can fix the battery from it inside.

I just foampad the battery and put it into the seatpost. Nothing moved there.

I am curious, what was your bike’s weight before and after the Winow cockpit? I am talking to Chris about a very similar setup.

If you meant me, I can't tell ya. Because I am still building it up, and have never installled the original one. But I just from my feeling, the alu spacers could be a bit lighter than the original one.

I can tell you the final weight not before 16.12., because first fitting, then finish building up. That the problem with Shimano Di2 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey all! I am super interested in getting the P515 either PES or TEO PM cranksets from magene. I do however hate the aesthetic of non Shimano cranks coupled with Shimano chainrings, and would rather use the Magene chainrings. I read from previous reviews surrounding durability and shifting quality. However I think since sometime in 2024 they released the 3rd gen chainring which was designed to address those concerns. I have had trouble finding reviews specific to the new chainrings. Anybody have experience with them?

Same here. I am going to buy the TEO this month and looking for light weight 2x chainrings 53/39. The magene are my fav atm. Any experimente or tips for lighter ones?

Maybe you haven't set the headset right? It seems it is too loose.
