« on: November 16, 2025, 01:52:02 PM »Has it now been definitively clarified whether a Hutchinson Caracal Race with 40mm fits in the frame, and has anyone had the crazy idea of installing Zipp XPLR?
The Hutchinson Caracal Race is 42mm wide (true width). I tried it with 32mm rims (38mm outside). The front tire fits fine. The rear one is too big. There is only 2mm space to the left and right chain stay.
From my side the front max tire width is 45mm, in the back 40mm (real size).
