Le cadre aero dragon bike est beau mais la géométrie 😭🤣 n'est absolument pas cohérente avec le cadre.
C'est dommage de copié le argon 18 et un chrono pour faire une géométrie comme celle ci

First of all: Tout le monde ne parle pas français, alors évitez le stéréotype du « Français » et répondez en anglais.

Second of all: The geometry of the Dragon is very clearly a racing bike geometry following slight trends to have a higher stack to reach ratio. The wheel base is super short, as are the chain stays. You should really study up on current race bike geometries, how angles affect positions and hip angles and what constitutes a good/correct geometry. In this case the dragon is surprisingly good.

Third: If you want to try and complain about geometry, go look at the Ridley Noah Fast and see what your old-school mentality thinks of it. Even though it is extremely complex on paper to understand why the geometry is correct while looking so so so different from the "norm", once you sit on the bike and have it set up, you would understand.

Bro, please. That's clearly not the case.
Check velobuilds own photos, you can clearly see a clamp.
OP is just having a few bad days of learning bike mechanics the hard/unsafe way.

There's a wedge inside the frame, on which the seatpost rests. you have to cut the seat tube to reach your desired seat height.
Seatpost needs carbon paste because there is no screw to tighten anything. Pushed some tissues into the seat hole to fill out the gap between seatpost and frame.

PLEASE take your bike to a real bike shop, the more you post the more I worry for your safety.

Also, check in all the little boxes and little bags for the seatpost wedge clamp that would be pushed in where you for some reason have stuffed tissues down. Hopefully you didn't throw it in the trash. Photo attached as an example.

It's more severe than that.

I cannot remove the rear axis anymore, because it's already cross-threaded with the udh rear hanger.

I can't remove the udh rear hanger, because its cross-threaded to the axis.

I can't remove the axis, because the head screw is completely stripped (very soft material).

my rear wheel is completeley locked

Not sure how much of this is down to user error and not having a professional bike mechanic background or experience and how much it is down to quality.
I've seen clients do this with much much more expensive western frames.

Did you know the Venge tested faster than the SL8. Quite depressing.
Maybe they'll address the pro teams demands of a new aero bike.

A little bit of fluids 101: Two first-order things are happening on these aero bikes.

  • Deeper tubes help keep flow attached, this is particularly evident at higher yaws
  • Deeper tubes create more drag through both having more area and also creating a low-pressure region on the leeward side of the foil

This means that the fastest shape is an optimization problem between the shape (incl depth) and the yaw angle. You can make a foil too deep, which slows it down. Layering in optimization for weight, and it's easy to see why the rationale for all-around race bikes exists.

Similarly, wider forks are not always faster, as you are now balancing increased flow between wider blade spacing, with the depth/shape of those blades, and should also account for wheel/tire / spoke aero issues. It's an even more complicated optimization problem.

Where does this leave the 368? I would bet that real-world testing methods, either with an aerostick or using the zero-elevation/Chung method, would show that this bike is slower than an SL8. Might be closer in a tunnel, tho.

Hi guys! First and probably last post on here, as I prefer to lark in the dark.

Anyways, I have been in contact with Velobuild about the frame and the (lack) of handlebar options.
Today I received confirmation of the option of 3D printing a different topcap after I created the 3D spacers for FSA ACR for them to "incorporate" to their topcap design.
So, for all of you unhappy with the handlebars/stems, at least anything ACR will be able to fit in the future!!
