Does anyone ride 2x on a gravel bike in 2026?  ;)

Alexey Vermeulen, perhaps you’ve heard of him ;)

He rode 2x at sea otter

And yes people who use Grav for road

Come on, stop the hyperbole. How fast are you gonna ride?

Well i'm trynna be faster than the guy in front of and behind me!!!!!!!!!!

Its not hyperbole, a 42 max chain ring would legitamately rule this bike out for those who wanted to race on a 1x system. I'm not talking about a group ride on the weekend.

Lots of races ive been in has seen me close to topped out on my 48/31 2x.

42t max ring would kill this bikes opportunity for being considered as a gravel 'racer'.

I ordered a BCBE-ING skinsuit and the legs are too short too. Fantastic quality and fabric etc but just not long enough in the legs.

The legs are a solid 2-3cm shorter than my other MAAP, PAS etc bibs.

I mean, in response to the general sentiment of this forum: its a good thing that there are HEAPS of options out there.

Realistically there is only a few "aero" frames that truly fit the steep STA, high stack and long reach criteria?

6
Yer ive got no problems running 130mm stem on my Giant Revolt.

I also agree the reach is too short on this bike by a little.

I finally got my pirelli 34C tires. On my rims with an inner width of 25mm, they swelled up to 36C. The gaps of this frame are amazing - I'm sure I could put 38C or even 40C. Of course, the rear 36C gives you a high level of comfort, I recommend you try it.

Would you post a pic?!

Wanted to share my relatively long term review of my AR XRLP 50mm gravel wheelset.

I purchased these October 2025 through Aliexpress. I was in contact with @Matter through the whole process, Matter was a pleasure to work with. Sent me photos of the wheels as they were built etc.

Fast forward the last several months…. These wheels have been great. I have bike packed with them, raced with them and trained with them for around 3000km. They have never missed a beat.

Other riders live to comment on how big they are ;)

I’m in the process of getting a Microspline free hub body now so I can run 12 speed shimano.

I’d have no problem ordering another wheelset in the future from Tagoola!

Thanks @casper.f and @BikeLab.

Thats much more promising.

Geometry of XXL/58 is here!

Any idea of when this will be available to buy?

Everything looks good but the seat angle is not progressive enough i don't think. 73 is SLACK.

.... The V2 softer rubber hoods also has a grippier texture and much easier to work with.

You got a picture?!

Anyone know what's the max chainring I can fit on this group set? Thinking of a 1x system with at least a 50-52t chainring.

Overall, I'm happy with the bike, even if I had to glue some sand paper on the new seatpost clamp that Tantan sent me because it wasn't holding.

The frame is certainly a conversation starter on rides. Even with this no paint job.

How you finding it now a few months on?

I’m interested in buying one myself.

Stiff? Comfortable? Tell me your thoughts.
