« on: October 21, 2025, 10:13:02 AM »After having the pinch bolt work itself loose, I accidentally stripped the threads on my left-side crank arm by putting power through it. I've since replaced it with an Ultegra R8000 crank arm and have had no problems with that. That might be worth a shot, you can often find the left crank arms for cheap used from people who buy left-sided power meters.
Edit: You may have to fiddle with some spacers to get the preload right.
You're probably right. Now the left arm moves 1 mm back and forth before I tighten the bolt. But the Shimano crank design is completely different from the Pes crank and looks odd with this combination
but nevertheless it was a bad design of the pes crank ver 1
