I’m Afarid Not. 
There are no plans to make any other Depth of VaporLite II.
We do have the Original VaporLite Rim 23mm Inner 30mm External width which is 290g per rim in its lightest layup. Lighter spec 879g per wheelsets

We do have moulded spoke hole rims available in 38mm Depth 25mm internal Width 30.94mm external.
110kg limit rim is 285g
130kg limit rim is 310g

Paired with our lightest carbon spoke hub ZC215Rc with 3.1mm bladed carbon spokes or 3.2mm bladed carbon spoke with hidden nipples Wheelset estimated weights are
919g 130kg limit
869g 110kg limit

Hello I’m afraid not only black or silver.
Most of our hub offering are either black or silver.
The only hub available in multiple color options like TI, green, purple, blue etc is the THR Industries R2 hub

Thanks for the question.

The ZC235RC 2024 is not simply a ZC235 front hub paired with a ZC245 rear hub. It is a separate revision developed specifically for the 20/24H configuration.

While the total hub weight remains 235g, the weight distribution is different:

ZC235RC: Front 76.4g / Rear 158.6g
ZC235RC 2024: Front 72.9g / Rear 162.1g

Most of the difference comes from the hub shell design .
The 2024 version uses a lighter front shell and a slightly heavier rear shell to suit the 20/24H layout and improve stiffness and load distribution.

So although the overall weight is the same, the ZC235RC 2024 should be considered a dedicated 20/24H hubset rather than a mix of existing ZC235RC and ZC245RC components.

Below is a list of our current carbon spoke hub options, including front and rear hub weights and available lacing patterns.

Please note that certain front and rear hub configurations can be mixed across different hub models to achieve the weight and spoke configuration you require. For example, the 18H 2:1 front hub from the ZC250RC hubset can be paired with the ZC215RC rear hub, resulting in a combined hubset weight of approximately 220.8g.

Most hubs are available in both black and silver, although some models are available in black only.

Here’s a recent bespoke customer build that left us yesterday.

The customer wanted something a little different from our standard finishes, choosing a split UD matte / UD gloss carbon finish, combined with silver permanent ZEN decals.

The finished wheelset came out at 1,244g.

Wheelset Specification

Rims
• 45mm front / 50mm rear
• U-shaped aerodynamic profile
• 25mm internal width
• 32mm external width at the bead
• 34mm maximum external width
• Hooked rim design
• Spoke-bed access holes
• Drainage / pressure-relief holes

Custom Finish
• Mixed UD matte / UD gloss carbon finish
• 3 × silver permanent ZEN decals per side

Hubs & Spokes
• H-Works SR270 hubs
• Silver finish
• Steel bearings
• 36T ratchet system
• Shimano HG freehub
• Spare SRAM XDR freehub included
• 3.1mm superlight bladed carbon spokes

Finished weight: 1,244g

For comparison, this configuration using our lightest UD paint-free matte finish was estimated at approximately 1,170g ±30g.

The customer’s special patterned/painted finish increased the estimated wheelset weight to approximately 1,230g ±30g, with the completed wheelset weighing 1,244g.

Thanks for your question.

All of the new hubs use the same bearing specifications as before. The weight reduction has not come from using smaller or lighter bearings. Instead, it has been achieved through additional engineering, material optimisation and hub shell redesign while maintaining the same bearing sizes.

Regarding your question about “less load resistance”, could you clarify what you mean? Are you referring to maximum rider weight, bearing load capacity, or rolling resistance?

As for bearing durability, it’s important to remember that bearings are consumable components. Their lifespan depends on many factors, including:

* Rider weight
* Riding style (racing vs. recreational riding)
* Road and weather conditions
* Maintenance and cleaning
* Mileage and frequency of use

For example, a rider who races regularly in wet conditions may need to replace bearings much sooner than someone who rides once a week in dry weather. Because of these variables, it’s not possible to quote a fixed bearing lifespan.

The 90 kg rider/system weight limit is for the rim itself, regardless of the lacing pattern. We would not recommend using a 2:1 hub with this particular 385 g rim. For this rim, we would build it with a 1:1 spoke pattern hub.

These 90 kg rims are designed primarily for lighter riders and good road surfaces. We also recommend leaving a reasonable margin below the maximum weight limit, especially if you regularly ride rough or poorly maintained roads.

As I mentioned before, our latest VaporLite II 60 mm rim is a much more advanced option. It has a 120 kg weight limit and uses an updated blend of T800, T1100 and MJ carbon fibres, making it significantly stronger while remaining very light.

Some example builds are:

* THR R2 hub (285 g), 3.95 mm spokes: 1,212.5 g
* THR R2 hub, 4 mm hidden carbon spokes: 1,176.5 g
* ZC235Rc hub (235 g), 20/20 spokes, 3.95 mm spokes: 1,145 g
* ZC235Rc hub, 4 mm hidden carbon spokes: 1,113 g

In our opinion, the VaporLite II is the better choice if you’re looking for the lightest wheelset without compromising strength and durability.

The lightest 65 mm road rim we currently offer that is suitable for yourself is our 25 mm internal / 32.4 mm external profile @425g

For your 92 kg system weight, we would recommend the 425 g Superlight layup, which has a 100–110 kg system weight limit. This is the lightest suitable option in our 65 mm range. Next is 135kg limit at 495g

Alternatively, we have our new VaporLite rim. Although it is only available in a 60 mm depth, it offers a higher 120 kg system weight limit while being significantly lighter.

The available VaporLite layups are:

* Ultra – 385 g per rim, 120 kg system weight limit
* Race – 415 g per rim, 120 kg system weight limit
* Heavy Duty – 435 g per rim, 130 kg system weight limit

If you’re happy to consider a 60 mm depth instead of 65 mm, the new VaporLite would be our recommendation as it offers an excellent combination of low weight, strength and aerodynamic performance.
