Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Mondince FM336
« on: September 15, 2026, 03:38:38 AM »
I also ordered an FM336 and I'm excited. The color is Pantone 2716 C (glossy)

LongTeng GV201.
Zen Carbon gravel wheels with 32 mm internal width and 64 mm depth.
Hutchinson Caracal 40. Will be swapped for something significantly wider after my next race, where this should be the fastest option.
SRAM XPLR 1x13 10-46.
Gemini 46t chainring.
Selle Italia Flite saddle.
SPAD Arx handlebar. 37 mm at the hoods, 41 mm in the drops.

It started with the goal of having a bike I was a little less precious about. Something I could commute on, ride gravel trails with in winter, and maybe use for gravel races. But when you know what you want, it doesn’t end up cheap anyway. The result has become a fantastic bike. I didn’t know what to expect from the frame, but so far it has seemed really good. Stiff and comfortable in the right areas. The wheels are absolutely great. The tires are brilliant on asphalt, and good enough for the kind of gravel riding I do if I run them at slightly lower pressure.

@cccccccccccccccx

officially only a 42t chainring is supported, right? What about your 46t chainring? What spacers did you use, or did it work without spacers? (That changes the chainline after all.)

Did you use the bearings that came with your frame ? No issue with the deda compression ring ?

Yes, I used the provided bearings and everything fits well with the compression ring, top cap and spacers.  I haven't ordered any additional accessories or parts.

What colour is the frame? I am looking to buy the FM126 from Mondince and was considering an offwhite like this.

Sorry for late reply.

I asked Mondince for the color of the "Megamo West" gravel bike. See the screenshot attached. I do not know the exact color code 😔

At first glance, everything looks very good. There are two minor issues with the paintwork that could be criticized.

frames arrived today :-) Shipping time to Germany was around 7 days with DPD. It took about three weeks for the frames to be shipped. Exactly four weeks passed between placing the order and receiving the delivery.

9
is this the price excluding handlebars I assume? Do they send both in one box for 180, that seems like a great deal! Why did you also go for the FM306?

thanks a lot :)

Yes, price is without handlebars. They send both frames in one box for 180. price for one frame is 150.

My brother go for the FM306 because the geometry is more comfortable, upright and relaxed.
