I have finished my build ca. 2 weeks ago. Everything was easy to put together and there have been no issues so far (ca. 350km ridden).

I saw a lot of people early on mentioning problems with a slipping seatpost. I received the new version with the "grippy surface" all around the seatpost. I used the same approach as with my Cannondale Supersix (which also famously has slipping and creaking issues with the seatpost) and put grease on the frame side of the clamp + grip paste on the seatpost side. Torqued to 6nm I have had no slippage even though the roads here in Britain are quite rough with a lot of pot holes.

So far it seems like the updated version of the seatpost solved the issue?

I can confirm the Continental Grand Prix TR are the real deal. Just bought two after buying some from a reputable european seller last year. They are 100% the same, they even have that specific Conti tyre smell. Comes out quite a bit cheaper when buying the no box version (2/3 the price for me).

The 500 is a little bit smaller then the Scott and the 520 is a little bit taller.

For me personally, 5cm of spacers is too much. I think a bike with less spacers rides much better (more direct) and it also looks better. I would go with the bigger bike in your situation

Thank you! Did you get the M6 or the M6 version? From looking around, it seems like the M6 are the correct ones?

Just bough the frame, excited for it! Is anyone using the Magene P505 on this? (So the older version). Formally it is not compatible with internal T47 BBs but people have reported that it fits depending on the frame. Looking at the photos, I would think it should fit.
