Received my frame today! 14 days after ordering to Switzerland - quicker than expected.
First inspection seems mostly OK, but I had couple of questions (apologies if they have been answered before):
1. The brake line exit in the fork looks really rough - I am thinking of using a round file to smooth it out, but wanted to check with other first to see if this is something I should discuss with the seller.
2. My frame came with a front derailleur mount, but I will be running 1x. Based on some pictures in this thread, some frames that also don't have a front derailleur have a some sort of replacement cover (https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,6336.msg113690.html#msg113690), but most don't. To those with the cover: Was it included with your frame? Did you 3D print? Are these available as spares somewhere?
3. So the fork has 4 threads on each leg, but only the top 3 have a screw. I thought this was weird, and that they just forgot the 4th, but no, even on the pics on the listing https://ae-pic-a1.aliexpress-media.com/kf/S4d94c98427dd469dbb1b94f4621a3c8fq.jpg_960x960q75.jpg_.avif, the 4th screw is missing ... how does this make sense? But more importantly, does anyone have the specs for these screws - they look a bit cheap and I would like to color match them with the frame color.
Thanks all!
