In Shimano, this feature is called **Synchronized Shift**.

I make upgrade from 11-28 to 11-34 without issue with stock cage.
I only adjusted B screw  to move the upper pulley away from the sprocket and re-calibrating. I adjusted the chain accordingly; I probably won't be able to cross 50/34, but that's a combination I'd never use.

I tried it out on Saturday (117km with 3150 + elevation) and I'd say it performed really well.

P.S. For better shifting, I ultimately decided to use the original Shimano cassette, chain, and chainrings.

In your opinion, will it work smoothly? Because the chain tension will automatically increase when shifting to the 34T sprocket, but I might only use the 34T chainring with the 34T sprocket combination for safety.

What chainring size do you use yourself?
