I am sorry but, 30k? Do you genuinely ride over 80k per day and not miss a day in a year?I usually miss about 7 days a year without being on any bike.
I own both the original Berk which is the most comfortable saddle I’ve ever sat on and the Ryet copy. At a quick glance, they look almost identical, but a closer look and a test sit reveal the differences. The Ryet is significantly lighter but also much more poorly made, and it lacks the flex of the Berk. Plus, the Ryet is missing a subtle detail that you notice pretty quickly. I didn't want to admit it at first, but that shallow recess on the saddle nose makes a huge difference in comfort for me. I have to tilt the Ryet’s nose down much further so it doesn't press against my "cojones" 😉My idea was to get a Berk as soon as the first Ryet was giving up, but that hasn't happend yet. I've got 5 of the Ryet ones now, narrow and wide, and they all work great. The two wide ones are on one of my Gravelbikes as well as one XC bike. Still going strong.
My personal verdict: better suited for weight weenies or casual "ice cream ride" cyclists, but not for serious athletes 😬

How isn't it? Chinese halo products cost the same. UR:ONE, SLC5, Spear RDC, etc. This is not trying to compete with LightCarbon pricing. This is a western brand competing with western pricing.So why are we posting western brands here?

Pretty sure 8-Bar used open molds in the past so its not surprising. I also think this frame is so good its not surprising it got picked up. If i wanted to sell bikes, there is a good chance I would pick this one too.Nope. That's exactly what it says. That they (8bar) developed the frame. Quite shameless.
I do think that claiming aero considerations and kamtail shapes are a bit of a stretch here. Yes, they tried a little, but this bike isnt trying to be aero. The other thing I hate, and it might be a translation from the Radsport article, is that they made it sound like someone in Germany was doing design work and picked the profile of the frame. If its this frame, we know that's not true.
great build. Could you specify the exact model number of the Heppe thru axles you used? I'm looking to upgrade mine... No problems with the ones supplied by LT, just as others have noted they don't match the build quality of the frame.Got them from here:
