I have not heard anything from Peter. Which is disappointing.

Thanks for the information. Looking for Peter to respond. I have contacted him but I have had no reply back yet. Pretty disappointed because I did not plan on purchasing another frame at the moment. And I do not feel safe to continue to use this one.

Well she had a good run. But I think it's time to retire this frame? The cracking around the bottom bracket is not good. Anyone else have any issues with the same frame or Xmcarbonspeed?

I race a lot of xc. Right now I'm running the cs-057. It is a little slacker than this. I'm in Michigan so we don't have a ton of elevation. Which I wouldn't be park riding or doing downhill on a 800 gram hardtail frame anyways. I've also ridden an older stumpjumper which is 71 degrees. Bike felt really good. Boost is cool and all but I still think it's going to be a few years out before I switch over. Still looking for anyone who has dealt with this company?

What bottom bracket did you use? I'm looking to get this frame but really don't want to own a bike with press fit bottom bracket. I had to get a wheels mfg threded press fit on my fatbike to finally get rid of all the creaking. I wish this frame came with a threaded bb option.

Posting some recent pics. Bike is 19.8 complete. Also pics of my wife's cs256. It weighs around 22lbs in a small.

Some more recent pics. Fixed these xx1 cranks with a pedal thread insert. My buddy stripped out a pedal and thought they were junk. Spent 30 bucks on a tap and 20 on the unior insert. Would of been 10 bucks but I broke the first one. After that I sanded down the red and gray graphics. Waiting on some custom made orange decals for them now. 20.4 complete with pedals.

They are Alligator windcutter gold rotors. They work well. Not as light as Ashima. Totally accomplished the look I was going for though.

First ride on the Hulk Bike carbon wheelset today. I paid 380 shipped on EBay. 27mm internal width. I was concerned with the powerway hubs. But everything worked flawlessly.  Hoping these hold up for awhile?

I have heard that some people have issues getting a hope cassette to work with shimano derailleurs. It all depends on your front chainring.  I have an absolute black oval which corrects the chainline to 51mm. I also believe one up components makes a narrow wide that corrects the chainline also. Make sure your chain is as tight as you can get it and b screw adjustment is very critical.

Been running this Hope Cassette on my Stans Arch Mk3 wheels with great success paired up to my XT drivetrain. It sure is pretty to look at.

It is 20.7 lbs complete with pedals and a bottle cage. The rims are 27mm internal. Really makes a 2.25 tire have a wide footprint. I also have a set of xx1 cranks I am about to throw on it. You still have your bike Carbon_dude?

I also own a Scott Scale 935 carbon. I prefer this bike over the Scott. It just feels better. Scott is the backup bike as the 057 has become the race bike. Nice bike man. Great build.
