You should be using a standard crank with a 45mm chainline for 13-speed setups with a chainstay of 405-415mm. The correct documentation is here: https://www.sram.com/globalassets/document-hierarchy/frame-fit-specifications/road/2024-road-frame-fit-specifications.pdf See page 21.

For 12-speed you can use standard or wide for any bike with stays longer than 395mm (see page 20).

Right, but what has me worried is that I have seen that some people have built up this frame with a WIDE crank, even though it is not what SRAM recommends given the length of the chainstays. I'm worried that there might be issues with the ring clearing the chainstay with the standard crank. I was hoping someone has tried this and could verify that it is OK.

Does anyone know if a WIDE SRAM crank is required to run a 50t chainring on the ER:ONE? The chainstays are shorter than what SRAM recommends for a WIDE crank, but I’m worried about chainstay clearance. Thanks!
