I am planning to improve a bit the headset kit from what it comes from manufacturer.
Can someone maybe help me with that?

Specs are:
Headtube:   1-1/2" Upper and Lower (Integrated); 52mm ID, 56mm OD
Bearing Size:   52mm OD, 40mm ID Upper And Lower; 7mm Height Upper, 7mm Height Lower

I'm also planning to build a bike with this frame, but I'm a bit confused about the headset specification, too.

Does Mondince mean that "1-1/2" Upper and Lower" refers to the headset bearing size, while the fork steerer is still the standard tapered 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" (28.6 mm upper / 40 mm lower)?

My main question is about stem compatibility. I'd like to use a Syncros RR 2.0 stem (or possibly another integrated stem/cockpit). Has anyone here used the Mondince integrated stem? If so, how is the quality? Are there any issues with cable routing or bearing preload?

Also, what are the key specifications I need to check when choosing a compatible stem or cockpit?
- Top cover with an outer diameter of 56 mm?
- Bearing dimensions (IS52)?
- Compression ring?
- Anything else?
