Quote from: carbonMad on Today at 05:35:38 AMIf the weather is bad enough to make you want to get on a trainer I'd get it now. A month of riding is better than whatever paltry savings you can make later. BF deals aren't what they used to be anyway.

Haha, very true! The weather is still holding up where I live, and I already have a basic non-smart trainer, so this would be an upgrade.

Quote from: Dan S. on Today at 04:04:02 AMI believe there is a whole thread about this trainer, might be worth checking.

Thanks a lot! I'll definitely check it out. And thanks for sharing the Geoid VE200 in the other thread too. I'm now considering that one as well!

Funny timing! I've just started a thread asking for opinions on the ThinkRider X2 Max, but at this price I'm definitely considering this one too! Thanks for sharing!

Now the dilemma: do I wait for the Black Friday deals or pull the trigger now? 😅

Hi everyone,

I'm considering buying a ThinkRider X2 Max direct-drive trainer and would appreciate some feedback from anyone who actually owns one.

I'd like to switch to a trainer with magnetic resistance for indoor training. I found the X2 Max on AliExpress for around €291

and I'm thinking of waiting until Black Friday to see whether the price drops further.

How has it been in everyday use? I'm particularly interested, noise and long-term reliability. Have you had any issues with connectivity or software compatibility?

Would you buy it again, or would you recommend spending a bit more on something else?

Thanks!
