Well i finished the build last week and have had a couple of short rides on the bike. It rides well.
I will post pics later and i washed it badly after this weekends outing.
Weight = 8.5kg / 18.7lbs but i'm hoping to shave another 500g off.
Build
Frame = Currently unknown Chiner frame, i bough it from evilbay as it had been cracked at the seatpost clamp area. the last owner had it professionally repaired by the guy who produced the first 'Lotus' carbon bike.
Fork = BXT rigid carbon or Fox 32 SC
Wheels = Fulcrum Red passion 29
Seatpost = very cheap & light Chiner carbon post from Evilbay.
Seat = very cheap & light Chiner carbon from Evilbay.
Tires = Vittoria cross pro TNT.
Chain = KMC Gold
B/B = E*thirteen BB30
Cranks = E*Thirteen 36T
Cassette = Shimano XT 11-46T
Gears = Shimano XT 11spd
Brakes = Clarkes M3 160mm rotors front and back
Headset = FSA Internal tapered
Bars = Toseek 70mm bar stem all in one
Grips = Ergon

I've been running a Toseek combined bar / stem 70mm long purely for cross country and its been great, no sign of any weakness & very light. The only downside is the lack of adjustability.

Hi all,
i'm new here, i recently took the plunge a bought a used Velobuild M-091 frame in large.
I'm looking forward to building it up into something special. My only quarm about it is that the seller said that it weighed 1700g, ive had it on our scales at work and it comes out at 1140g. I'm thinking that he may have sold me something a little more special than a stock M-091. Any thoughts?
