I actually have the Clarks on a bike. But that bike is more of a casual bike... I wouldn't put them on an MTB.Don't buy those brakes for that bike!

LOL, even as I put them on the list I was saying no to myself, but I'm going to be adding another $200 at least for used stuff. I agree with you nonetheless.
Yes, I'd actually like to know this as well if anyone can definitively answer. I'd like to know the tire limits for both of these frames.
You should ask for drawings of the bikes that you evaluate (rear triangle). Even if they state 2.3 the clearance might be minimal...
Don't buy those brakes for that bike!

I am also considering these two frames but my concern is the tire clearance. According to Steven at Pro-Mance it is impossible to fit a 29x2.3 (or even a 29x2.25 Rocket Ron) tire when using 12x142 through axle in their frame? Anyone tested?
Is it the same with CS-FS029?
