It's possible that its the top "cosmetic" layer that cracked. You can try taking a coin and tap along the tube thats cracked and see if the sound changes. The cracked portion of the frame should have a more dull sound than the area around it that's not cracked.

Glad to see that you'll be getting your money back. Maybe HF will take their customers more seriously from now on.

How many version of this frame are there? I'm really leaning towards the 058...or a variant of it.

The reach on the medium is 432mm. That's longer than my trail bike which I run a 40mm stem, but the wheelbase is shorter at 1124 vs the 1166 on my trail bike.

I want one of these. I think this will be my next build. I'd go with the 29r 142x12 frame. Maybe some time this summer.

That does not look good. I'd contact the seller and get a replacement frame.

I sent them an email and they told me that they don't even have a mold. It won't be ready until next month.
