At the bottom of the page, you can find the tech docs for the frame.

There is a rear triangle hanger is UDH, with a T-type derailleur, I didn't know this existed !

So looking on the Cooma store page, and their pink pads, which model do I need for my Shimano ultegra and 105 disk brakes (link please). Would love to give these a go.

I was a long fan of the pink Cooma, I switched to the orange Kingstop on all my bikes
https://kingstop.vi.aliexpress.com/store/233959/pages/all-items.html?productGroupId=257383775

They may wear a little faster, but are way more silent and provide a softer with more modulation grip

...Price wise, last week I saw the Ryet K1 around 60 EUR while OdinZeus is around 66 EUR, both with discounts...

I just saw it today, but more around 100€ which is hard for me to swallow
When you say discounts, how did you get them ?

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Nipple quality

Hi all,

Simple question about nipple quality. Going to be building a wheel soon and was wondering if nipple quality matters? I'm considering getting a bunch of cheap anodised nips, but am also wondering if I just splurge and get Pillars.

The reason for being a tightarse is I'm reusing spokes and nips (I know, I know) though wouldn't mind adding some colour. I'm too soft to ride in the wet so I'm not fussed about corrosion

Any recommendations on sellers for nips (or spokes for that matter)?

I just unmounted my very first Lightbicycle wheelset (Lefty/Hope hubs) with Pilar spokes and nipples.
To convert them to a new e-gravel.
These wheels saw everything you could imagine, rain, mud, snow, salt, sweat(probably 8)), in 10+ years of usage, nipples and spokes were still fine and easy to unmount.

Hey could you by any chance measure the dimensions of the spacers that comes with the thin line handlebar?
Seems to be the same as the vero, which I'm considering. But the spacers dimensions aren't listed anywhere.

I don't have one here right now. Contact the seller with an Aliexpress message, they are very responsive

...the Vero bars ...

I didn't know them, and they look lighter !
Thanks for the information.

So what happened when you pulled it apart? Any major problems? How many miles/hours was it ridden since it was last serviced?

Sorry, I forgot about it. They were never serviced so far.
They have thousands of km

What are some recommendations for some high quality Chinese integrated bars?

These are the ones I install in general, because so far they are the stiffest and lightest I could find.

Road: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005939677279.html (LEXON, they build frames too but never tried)
Gravel: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005004788375665.html (LEXON)
MTB: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005611032673.html (FIRE SPIDER the premium brand of Tooseek)

You can see both shops as well, they have other items.

Thanks, I saw this, but it doesn't look like it has completely hidden cable routing, right?
Cables are completely hidden

Hi, I'm looking for an integrated handlebar, full idden cable, size 420x130.
The frame where I would mount has 1"1/2 headset.
Any suggestions?

I installed a few of these: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005939677279.html
Road and gravel (flared)

I ride a 46T on my Carbonda 505, a gravel that becomes a road bike by just changing the tires

Did you consider the UDH standard (Universal Derailleur Hanger) ?
From my understanding of the drawing it doesn't look like to be.
And it is a good option to find easy replacement or eventually going with the new SRAM derailleurs.

Thank you for the heads up.

My AirBank mini pum has been solid. It’s pretty much replaced my air compressor at this point. It’s seated mtb and gravel bike tire too.

The airflow is sufficient to seat tubeless tires ?
Well nowadays tires improved dimensions and can be seated with a foot-pump, but interesting to know.

This is probably not going to be a popular opinion on this forum, but I would buy a used Quarq

As a counterpoint, my first road Quarq suddenly started gifting me about 500W average power on my rides... unfortunately, just two months after the two-year warranty expired.

SRAM support was very kind and offered me a replacement. I only had to pay for the GPX to DUB conversion (my choice).
Meanwhile, both my XCADEY on the MTB and the Quarq on my gravel bike have been running strong for years, despite frequent mud plastering.

The takeaway: all devices are probably reliable, but bad luck can strike sometimes. A confirmed reliable user support is key.

...Its a pretty good do-it-all bike when paired with wide, fast rolling tires...

I'm intrigued by your rack, where did you find it ?
