Thanks to all who have inspired the projects on this forum!
I'll add mine. Always a work in progress, but I'm happy with the way the frame paint turned out.
I painted it myself, magenta under blue and sanded away the blue for some accents. No protective coat, I want it to continue to change as it gets used. I'd like to redo the wheel decals to tie them into the color scheme but have not found the time. I included a photo of the first scratch to show the effect of the paint.
Overall, the build is reasonably light at about 20.2 lbs and it climbs like a dream.
I did my best with the photos, but it's hard to capture how the color pops seeing it in person.
Build notes
-Frame is an ICAN M17 (21") that I got a good deal on because it had a stupid logo on it (hence the paint job).
-Wheels are speed tuned evo race carbon in 29" with speed tuned super 6 2.0 hubs, Racing Ralphs mounted but I'll need some more tread for the local trails here (moved recently).
-Rock Shox Sid XX World Cup fork converted to 110mm
-FSA SL-K carbon cranks
-XTR M9000 shifter and derailleur (11s)
-E-thirteen TRS RACE 9-46 cassette
-Magura MT4 brakes (Have XTR trail brakes waiting to be installed, I don't care for the Magura levers)
-Chiner seat, seatpost, stem, bars, etc.
