I´m by no means expert on the subject, but all my tubeless wheels leak, be it "chiners" or branded ones.
I check my tyre pressure before every ride anyway, so it´s not a issue.

Thanks schumo -  and yes, it´s not the best review on their website  :o

This aero bike will be my third chiner, and there is always something when you build these bikes. Never the less, I´m super happy with my other bikes - they are perfect.

Hi Everybody

I´m kinda looking to build a aero road bike with integrated cabling and 60´ish mm deep disc wheels.
Being tall, I find many of the Chiners too small for my liking. I’m all “legs” so seattube length is always an issue.
Currently looking at Velobuild VBR-99 – but is it big enough……I just don´t know..

Are there any tall riders out there with experience on chiner aero frame ??

Happy riding to all

Well maybe nobody knows  :)

I´d go for BSA, not a big fan of pressfit.

Pre10dr

I build a IP-036 in August. My build was pretty easy, and the bike is great. Two things caused some trouble, so my advice is:

1. Purchase a neco headset from Peter/xmiplay - I tried 2-3 bearings from Chainreaction, none of them fit 100%. It´s the top bearing that's tricky and the neco is 100%.

2. Bottom bracket - after 2 x shimano pressfit I purchased a https://praxiscycles.com/product/shimano-conversion-bb/
You have to go with the 68mm road one, because the width of the IP-036 is only 68mm and not 73mm like "normal" mtb´s.

Happy building

Only shock I could find when build time came, was a DT Swiss M212 Remote: http://www.bike24.com/p238006.html
Most other brands was sold out, or had 2-3 months delivery time.

I run it with my Fox float 29" fork and have dual lock-out from the handlebar - like the Scott Spark´s.

Just to be sure Arrjay - the shaft on your crank is to long?

Just finished my IP-036 build, a massive upgrade from my Scott Scale 950. I ride Single track in the woods west and north of Copenhagen, Denmark - but normaly I bring my bike all around Europe. French Alps last year, Slovakia and Germany this year.

Trying to ride 3-4 times a week (10-15 miles pr. ride).

Ok, looks like I´ll be ordering from Peter then.

Carbon_Dude - I also just tightened the expansion bolt pretty tight (to tight in my opinion).

Thanks guys, now I have a idea of how to solve the issue.

Take care.
