Geoid GPS (which from what I understand is a magene subbrand)

This one looks to be the magene C606 with blue buttons. Doesn't seem like there are other differences. I've had a bad experience with the c606 due to the shitty software on android but for that price I would still consider it

It looks to be identical with c506 not c606 on speccs. Still cheaper than c506.

Did you go to checkout or just the basket? Vat is discounted on the last step before you klick the final buy button

Yes. When I go to checkout the VAT is added on top - so even higher price..

Yes. Seems like I need a vpn. I am located in Norway, but the price is before VAT also.

Wierd. It says 230 euro for me? Official store no chainring.

2 weeks to ship, then I received it 40 days after placing the order.

Ludo did you do anything to the open gap at the front (the lowest spacer is bent upwards facing forward)?

Thank you for helping! I am quickly finding out I am definitive not a bike mechanic (first bike build..).

Got the crankset on, but now when mounting the back wheel I see the disc brake is too far from the rotor (160mm).

I have used the zrace XG rotor with a spacer for 160mm rotor like i used on the fork. Anyone had similar issue?

I have the G068, but not sure if it is symmetrical or not. But did you also have a hard time getting the crank through the BB? If it slid eaay i could trial and error with the spacers to see what makes sense. But I had to hammer with a rubber mallet. Also getting it out again when I saw the gaps was same struggle.

Thank you, yes. What side do I use the thick one and the thin one?

I am almost complete with my build, but I was now installing the crankset.

I have this crankset: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006733493958.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.10.f62e1802jlS1ER

EVOSID Road Bike Crank 165 /170/175mm Chainring 40/42/44/46/48T Gravel Bicycle Integrated Fire Crankset 11/12 Speed Folding Bike 44T

But there seem to be a gap on both sides so did I order too wide crankset? Also I had to hammer it through the bottom bracket with a rubber hammer, is that normal?

Hi. Anyone have som example of good 1x crank and chainring combo with p505?

Hi!

I am looking to get back into cycling after life took over for 10+ years. I did mtb active back in my youth and hopefully some of the feel is still intact.. Now I am looking for fun and excercise, nothing serious but I would like a bike that I can push a bit going downhill.

I was first looking at trail bikes like Scott Spark, Tallboy, etc and other similar 120-130mm travel bikes. But then I came across this forum and want to rather build a bike - sourcing parts and planning a build is also a lot of fun.

So far I have looked at the LCFS958 frame. Planned to have it 130/130 travel.
https://www.lightcarbon.com/all-new-lightcarbon-trail-mtb-frame-lcfs958_p118.html . I have sent emails to lightcarbon, but have not received any replies.
Anyway is this a frame you guys would recommend? Or do you have experience with other frames around 120-130mm travel that would be good?

When I go to DIYCarbon I see they have some frames that are "clones", that makes it "easier" to know how they are compared to the ones I can see and have demoed in stores, but have read they just source their frames from other providers such as Tantan or lightcarbon? Have anyone made or seen a overview of chinese frames and comparison of geo to brand bikes?
