Does anyone have infos on the raiser handlebars?

What's the storage bag? Has this internal storage?

I still think Peter's biggest issue is price, it could be the best bike in the world but it won't hold the resale or word of mouth of a winspace, quick pro,  Tavelo or the like while costing roughly the same.i say this as someone with full confidence in Xmcs and love my rs01

The final form of this build will be someone around 6.8kg all in. Currently its around 7kg. I really need that setback seat post from Peter so that I can run my preferred saddle which is around 100g lighter. And I'll pop in some 30c tires instead of the current 32s.

For reference, my Quick Pro ER:One currently sits at exactly 7kg all in with similar-ish components. But using Yoeleo 60mm wheels with steel spokes that weigh 1360g for the set. Not only is the AERYS frame slightly lighter over the Quick Pro, these new XMCS wheels weigh a whopping 310g LESS. 1050g for the pair. Incredible for a set of 50mm.

Of course I could just slap the XMCS wheels onto the QuickPro and immediately drop it down to 6.7kg

Could you give a quick comparison to the velobuild aerotrace build you did? Are they a similar bike or is the Xmcs a more rounded less TT like bike. No sweat of you can't

That price increase is the real stickler tbh, I've no doubts at all on quality and would be happy to spend more considering how good my cs-r01 has been, but when you go over 1500 for a frame you really start to incorporate resale into the decision, brands like Tavelo and winspace hold better mindshare in that regard and are seen as a more known bet.

Just a small update, 5000km done, added a geoid pm500 but other than that and a new chain and cassette all is the same as original spec. Fantastic bike, I'm 36 and am fitter now than I have been in the near 20 years I've cycled and I'm giving a lot of the credit to how much I love riding this bike, hasn't put a foot wrong once (other than one wheel top related issue). Might look into buying the Xmcs aero race frame for next year solely because of how good this is, price increase is noticeable and might lead me somewhere else but I can't fault the quality one bit.

You would be amazed at what ppl are willing to overlook for a nice label.

I regularly ride over 60kph so having lingering doubts about structural quality would be less than ideal

Any ideas on the best way to calibrate this? I can see a calibrate option on my old Garmin edge 800 but pressing it does nothing.
