Nah. For $15 this seems pretty handy, particularly if you're building a lot of bikes or repeatedly adjusting your fit. I don't particularly need one right now but this is a really useful tool for some.

I haven't run into any CT1 builds but I've seen a number of GR02 alloy gravel frames and they look like a good value. Trace Velo also loves his CR05 steel road frame. All the Seaboard frames I've run into use BSA bottom brackets which should work fine with the PES515. Magene claims the 515 was upgraded to clear T47 bottom brackets as well but I haven't seen anyone try that setup yet.

Ozark Trail G1 Explorer? It's not white but at under $300 it's hard to even find a bare frame for that price.

I've never had trouble with my LTWOO groupsets but keeping up with all their revisions and lack of support is tedious. I'm hoping Wheeltop keeps improving because on paper their groupsets are everything I'm looking for.

You're probably right then. I remember reading a while ago that it did include the PolyX layer but the BRR reference to that was back from 2014:

I've been confused with these same tires. BRR tested the tubeless ready version which has a different construction from the non-TR one:

Continental's site is basically useless for getting detailed info on tires. It mentions that the TR version uses a 4-ply construction and the non-TR uses a 3-ply construction.

It's my understanding that the TR version has a PolyX Breaker layer for puncture protection which isn't even mentioned on their site. I wonder if that's the missing layer on the non-TR version. Who knows?

I don't have the P515 but if it's anything like the other Magene power meters you can do a soft reset by plugging in the magnetic charging cable and then holding up another magnet to the status LED. The LED should blink a couple of times to indicate that it worked. I use a fridge magnet to do this but any decently strong magnet should also work.

I don't know if this will fix your issue but this tends to work for me when my power meter becomes unresponsive or starts reporting strange values.
