« on: June 25, 2025, 07:09:36 AM »That sounds like a chain length issue. I cannot find the recommended method in the manual right now. But for a 1x, typically you want it as short as you can that doesn't overextend the cage in the low gear/biggest cog. If it is too loose there, by the time it gets to the small cogs, the cage may not be able to take up enough and it will be slack. The big cog fit will be painfully stretched for those used to a 2x setup. A different system I have recommends sizing to the minimum length to go around the chainring and the biggest cassette cog NOT through the derailleur and then +4-5 links as the right length. Shockingly this seems to be right.
I used the biggie/chainlink +4 links now. I couldn't find any recommendations in the manual.
Maybe I should try removing another link.
