I figured how much worse could they be than stock bearings, look identical almost.

These are decent bearings. I used them in my hubs

Solved my issue today running the Xcadey Gen 1 spider (3 bolt 110BCD for road). Works with 73mm BB shell if you run it with a MTB crank (longer spindle) that is also 3 bolt. Bike is BSA bottom bracket, so I had to run 2.5mm spacer on the drive side. Added an addition 0.5 shim onto the bottom bracket to give it a little better chain line.

Yes I have heard some mix quality on gen 2...I have gen 1 but I guess for road.

I don't think Magene has SPD (MTB) power pedals?

Wondering if someone has a recommendation for power meter for MTB or should I say for 73mm width BB shell. I don't think I see too many options out there.

I do have a XCadey spider that is 3 bolt with Zrace RX crank set but seems like the crank spindle is not long enough. If someone has a recommendation for crank then I can reuse the spider. It seems like the spider has quite a bit of offset.

I have recently picked up a Giant and it uses the OD2 standard. Was wondering if there are current recommendations for OD2 that is stiff and relatively easy to route for internal brake hose (Di2 setup)?

according to the site it uses 2802 but you mentioned 15267. Which one is correct and both still smaller than the ratchet ring?

I use the calibrate on my Garmin (530) it seems to work. Bike stationary and upright. I have the crank at 6 and 12 o'clock.

Anyone tried the backpedal 5 times ?

too early to service but thinking down the road, what tools is needed for the SR278C hubs? I think it needs a special tool like DT swiss to remove the ratchet ring in order to remove the bearings?

Finally the weather is good enough for my first test run after purchasing a set from Black Friday discount. I got something I guess a little usual compare to everyone else, 21mm internal with asymmetrical rim, 50mm deep and carbon spokes. Works out to be 1180g. First test ride of 40km, wheel/bike feels fast and stiff (may need to adjust tire pressure a little). But the acceleration and snappiness is like instant!  Looking for more long term testing.

I currently run ICAN AERO35s with 21 mm internal and 35 mm depth on Sapim cx-ray spokes that weight just below 1300 g that I bought new on auction for a fraction of the sticker price. The wheels are fine and all, but I am very tempted to try deeper wheels with carbon spokes (3.5 or even 5 mm) and would love to decrease the weight if possible. You can definitely go lighter and deeper. I got 21mm internal with 50mm deep and 3.5mm carbon spoke. Weight 1180g for the pair.

Anyone know of the zrace rx crank with dub spindle if the spindle is long enough for MTB bb shell? I think it is but haven't tried it.

I ended up getting the Tabolu mtb shoes. They work ok but the insole that it came with is too soft. I would recommend switching out the insole for something stiffer. Felt much better after swapping it out. Walking wise they were comfortable. This was my first mtb shoe so the outer sole is definitely more flexible compare to my carbon road shoes so I don't have a reference if the sole is too flexible or not.

it definitely pairs with the Magene app. Haven't seen any firmware update so not sure if that is how we will receive it

It is an Easton interface. So you can find other cranks
