Is this a damper like on the Scott spark 2016?

Does the fork also have 3 positions? Open, Trail, Lockout?

Yes, is a RS nude 3 position 2016. The fork is a sid 35 ultimate (with sid ultimate SL grafics)  2 positions.
The shox works Great with The 2 positios command.
