They have another handlebar in their range; perhaps that one is better designed?

2
I checked their website, they sell the SL7 Copy for 250$ + 150$ shipping (for real?  :o)

https://www.microckbikes.com/products/microck-gold-logo-sl7-road-bike-carbon-frame-clean-routing-threaded-t47-700c-carbon-road-bicycle-frames-thru-axle-10012-14212mm-with-handlebar-oem-colors

Has anyone experience with buying directly from their website?

I'm also thinking about buying some Li-Ning shoes (Red Hare 8 Pro and Challenger 5) from LITBUY at Taobao – they're currently circulating as a hidden gem on social media and are considerably cheaper on Taobao than discounted ones on Aliexpress.

Hello everyone,

has anyone in the forum already used the LitBuy platform (app + Discord) to order directly through an agent in 1688 or TaoBao?

Greetings, Sammy

Is the XMC 36 ratchet hub identical in construction <-> dimensions to the DT Swiss 350 with 24 holes?

@patliean1 what colour is that? It looks great!

I was just about to pull the trigger on an SL8 clone last week, but got sidetracked after my brand new car got wrecked by some idiot on a cell phone.

Now that my blood pressure is nearly back to "normal" I'll get back to bike shopping.

I think the color code is YS3233 if you looking at Vivian current post on instagram

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Winspace C5 Aero
« on: August 22, 2025, 01:20:04 AM »
Bumping this- considering the c5 aero as they are available complete for like $3k on their website.  Not sure how tariffs play out but it seems like a great deal.  Any updated reviews?  Fit is similar to my current bike with a shorter reach (fine) and a slightly shorter stack.  Longer stays which I’m not a fan of, but bigger tire clearance would be nice.

Can anyone tell me about the customs duties if the complete bike is sent to Europe for $3,200?

Please retrue the spokes, if the problem stays, please do let me know via WhatsApp if possible, thanks a lot.

Okay, I will looking for a mechanic who can check the wheelset and I will give feedback of the result.

On my last ride, I noticed that my rear wheel was starting to run sideways. (see attachment)

I've been riding this Wheelset for about 600km.

The setup features D50CU-33 T1100 rims with Pillar Wing 20 spokes.

Have the spokes settled again and do they need to be readjusted, or is there a problem?

There's no visible damage and I haven't hit a pothole.

the kid's X68 mostly built. have a few bolts to swap out and new bottle cages to add. rides very nicely based solely on a quick spin to work out the kinks. the L-Twoo eRX v3 works quite nicely though not as straight forward to setup as Shimano or SRAM.

Are the decals under the clearcoat?

At the end of the day, it’s going to get scratched—unless you’re planning to apply PPF (paint protection film). No offence, but it’s a budget frame, not a museum piece 😄

If you’re really particular about the finish, you can always order the frame in bare carbon and do the paint and clear coat yourself. But honestly—how shiny do you want the bike to be?

My gloss UD frame is already shiny enough for me!

Also, just to add: for a $600 USD frame, it’s very unlikely the manufacturer is using a proper 2K automotive-grade clear coat. Even big brands like Specialized don’t always use 2K unless it’s on a high-end custom or pro-level finish. Most production frames use UV-cured or 1K-style finishes—they’re quicker and cheaper to apply at scale.

Especially when it comes to decals, a 2K clear coat is the better choice. If you’re not careful when peeling them off, the entire layer of paint can come off with the decals. Plus, the colors come through better, and the „wet-effect“ becomes more pronounced. After all, why shouldn’t a $600 frame also look high-quality?

I'm asking because I want a durable, high-quality finish, and from what I've read, 2K clear coat seems to be the better option.
It offers much better protection, shine, and longevity compared to 1K.
I also understand that a clear coat is always needed over any base color – whether it's solid, metallic, or pearl – to seal and protect the paint.

Quick question so I don't have to leaf through all 95 pages... are the chameleon colors sealed with 2k clearcoat or just 1k?

Zealot128 did you get to talk with Magene regarding their bike computers? I've heard good things about the hardware but horror stories about the software and support for them.

I own a C606 and was surprised at Eurobike to see that the software looked completely different!

The representative I spoke to told me that the app will be completely redesigned and the C606 will receive a firmware update in two weeks.

The new software looks great at first glance, but time will tell what it’s really capable of.

I pointed out a real flaw: when importing a GPX file from "komoot" or "bikerouter", road names aren't displayed during navigation.

We'll see if that gets fixed.

Early 30s, fairly flexible - I can touch my toes easily if that counts for anything. The SL8 offset look to be 15mm? The Ultimate is 8mm. Unfortunately there's no shop near me that has it in stock.

At least the geo doesn't seem too different between 52 and 54, so could compensate with the stem + spacers.

Thanks!

Will need to pull together a shopping list. Were there any "must-replace" items? Saw the Garmin mount for the handlebars, was there also the seatpost wedge?

I'd be very interested in your experience comparing it to your current bike if you buy the frame!

I also ride the Canyon Ultimate in size S (2018) and find that the frameset somehow sucks up the "performance"... so I'm really not happy with it!
