Hi all.

I have a Ksyrium SL Disc wheelset that I'm thinking of upgrading to ~50mm deep carbon wheels. My budget is ~$600 CAD. I see Elite and Tagoola on Ali, and XMCS/Zen are also options I hear people in this forum write positively about.

Some questions:
  • Is it worth upgrading to an entry level carbon wheelset if I already have pretty light wheels? I wouldn't be saving much in weight but there's the aero benefits to consider. Would be interested in hearing any personal experiences.
  • Is there a resource you guys recommend when looking at how to spec a wheelset? I've gone into the individual wheel threads and there seems to be lots of details and terms I'm not familiar with (rim width, spoke options, hub options, hub reliability, etc.).

Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Not sure if this is in the right board - feel free to remove if it isn't.

I'm looking for some recommendations for parts to upgrade my old aluminium hybrid commuter bike. From things like Aliexpress bell/pedals/fenders, to groupset replacement (or at least chains, cassette).

Wondering if anyone has done the same and found some reliable products.

Sales & Classifieds / 3D Printed Cosy Saddle (Carbon Rail)
« on: July 29, 2022, 08:50:47 PM »
Selling my extra 3D printed Cosy Saddle's. I ordered a few for myself and some extras just in case but they’re turning out great so now I don’t need them lol. $185 CAD.

Size: 275x142mm
Rail: 7x9mm
Weight: ~220g

Are they as comfortable as the Fizik adaptive or Sworks mirror saddle? Can’t say for sure as I haven’t tried either extensively. But these are pretty darn comfortable and almost 1/3 the price.

Can do pickup in Vaughan or Toronto, or shipping at buyers expense.

Any real world experience with this frame? Thinking about different options including this one

Can't speak for the 306, but I own the 309 (less aggressive geo and no dropped seat stays) and it's great. Good communication with the company.
