I got a special paint job for the GX700, det teal colour on the back of their teal/yellow/red paint scheme so CAMP seems to be able to give som customisation on their frames.

For the gx600, my daughter liked black so it was easy. I think I will order some of the decals from taobao for the camp logo for her as they have a bunch of cool choices on there.

I think the timezone difference is a tough one and the hours she works are a bit off. I noticed when communicating with her that she would often be online in what would be late night in China (9pm-12am) when it was morning for me in Canada (9am-12pm EST). But overall she has been great in answering lots of questions and even let me know that she could ship two frames for the same shipping price as one so I ended up picking up a different camp frame (gx600) for my daughter to build up a bike for her.

I recall that Magene groupsets had originally been geoblocked and couldn't be used outside of Mainland China. Is this still the case? Planning to buy a bike this summer in China and a few models I am considering are stocked with Magene PES or QED. Don't want to get stuck with a groupset that I can't use once I get back to Canada.

Duno if you could see this post on Xiaohongshu, rednote, first Vook v8e broken frame damage for no crashing, only crossed the speed bump.

Like you say, the xiaohongshu post is deleted and the tieba responses are mixed. Many people are calling BS that the frame would crack going over the speed bump.

Man, I am not that professional as you expect. This V9 we dont have much discussion, because its not selling in market yet.
But when you look at the sample bike picture, its all about the same thing to us, this year the Chinese factories all followed TOP brands to use the new same design handlebar, we call it "V lift up bar" V字抬升把 （ONIRII AERO PRO, Hudud, INCOLOR, WINSPACE, GANNA etc.）
Like CAMP is the first one who follows Cervelo S5 and COLNAGO Y1RS, too many same design in China now. Aerodynamic frame with same lift up bar. VOOK V9 retail price is 7k CNY which is 1000USD, its not cheap but for those who want to try this kinda frame and handlebar is a good choice, at least VOOK's cheap bikes are somehow good choice for new riders.

In general,  is it a brand with a decent reputation for quality or have there been issues?

Has anyone heard anything in terms of warranty for either Aerofor or Spect? Super intrigued by the Strada frame but it is a considerable risk being a new company without a lot of history.

What size bearings did you use for the LTWOO rear mech?

The LCR018-D frame will be available in September, the 52cm size has been tested, and the 55cm size is currently being tested. This frame will be matched with the latest HBR18 ultra-light handlebar.

When I look in the catalog, the HBR18 looks like a gravel bar with a lot of flare (16 deg). Seems like a mismatch for this bike which seems more suited for all road.
